Wuhan Virus -

The President and First Lady announced early Friday that they have tested positive for the wuhan virus and are implementing quarantine in the WH. Depending on the specific test used, probably follow on tests to further confirm. This follows the announcement Thursday of WH aid Hope Hicks being tested positive for the disease as well. CNN crowing that the president is in the highest risk category - age and obesity. Well that only counts really if you look at the numbers if the obesity is morbid - which isn’t the case here.

Central American ‘caravans’ -
Tighter border controls, hammering central american countries to uphold treaties and international laws and the wuhan virus had pretty much shut this category down. Word out today is that a new caravan has departed Honduras enroute to the US. Guatemala admits to being caught off guard on the border crossing and is vowing to detain and return participants.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
The former CEO of Twitter stated that those who reject woke politics “are going to be the first people lined up against the wall and shot in the revolution” and he’d “happily provide video commentary.”

Proud Boy leadership has been coming forward to demonstrate racial inclusion in their ‘organization’. Black and other races leaders have stepped forward to denounce racism and has even joined locally with BLM to denounce racism.

Politico reports that over the past few months in the number of Americans—both Democrats and Republicans—who said they think violence would be justified if their side loses the upcoming presidential election and significantly increased.

Election 2020 -
The President positive test throws another twist into the campaign as it enters the final month. This may give Biden the “out” he needs to avoid the remaining two debates. This will also slow the tempo of the Presidents rally, though I suspect he will think outside the box to maintain the tempo some how.

Election officials in Philadelphia confirmed that voting machine software and technology was stolen sometime last week. This consisted of a laptop owned by Election Systems & Software, the Omaha, Neb.-based company that supplies the machines and thumb drives that set up the individual machines.

ISIS/Domestic Terror -
First 911 centers, now major hit on Twitter. Is someone playing around in preparation for greater disruptions?

Strategic Deployments -
Two E-6B Mercury “Doomsday” planes took off last night - one over either coast - shortly before the President’s announcement of testing positive for the wuhan virus. Some observers think that Stratcomn wanted them to be seen and noted airborne as a deterrent. Military sources say the deployment timing was mere coincidence.

China -
China revealed that its J20 stealth fighter had officially entered mass production. This was not the original J20 prematurely declared ready in 2017 but a much improved J20B. The jet is still plagued by production/materials problems and is only marginally stealthy - from a frontal aspect. Any other aspect reportedly lights up a radar screen quite nicely.

Iran -
After being hammered twice this year, desert locusts are expected to arrive in Iran once again, this time in large bands from Oct. 6, according to the spokesperson of Plant Protection Organization, affiliated with the Agriculture Ministry. These locusts are also hitting other areas in the region as well. This years infestations, combined with sanctions and wuhan virus has really hit the economy and locals hard.

Iraq -
Warning that the US will be leaving the embassy in the Green Zone unless Iraq deals with terrorist/militias has Iraqi leadership concerned. They believe that the withdrawal may signal that the US is going to go after theses Iranian backed militias once embassy elements are out of the way. The Green Zone and US/Coalition facilities at the Bagdad Airport have come under almost nightly scattered rocket attacks where these Iranian-backed militias will set up a small rockets, start the launching and leave the launchers behind.

Syria -
Yesterday I noted that there were some that suggested Syria was exploring back doors to gain a peace deal with Israel. Today, the Syrian Foreign ministry loudly announced Syria ”was and will remain against any agreements or treaties with the Israeli enemy based on its firm conviction that such agreements harm Arab causes in general, foremost among which is the Palestinian cause, which has been proven by previous experiences, that normalization and signing treaties and agreements with this enemy only increased its arrogance and obstinacy.”

Turkey -
EU has warned Turkey that it may impose sanctions if it doesn’t stop “provocations and pressures” against Greece and other actions in the eastern Mediterranean.

Belarus -
EU preparing to sanction the country over the recent election that they say was neither free nor fair.

Armenian / Azerbaijani -
Battles continue with it appearing that Azerbaijan holding the upper hand on the ground while Armenia able to control the skies with their S-300 systems. RUMORS yesterday that Azeri forces launched ballistic missiles at the Armenian capitol. Armenian sources say their S-300 systems shot down those missiles as well as drones in the capitol airspace.
Greek hackers allegedly got into Azerbaijani govt websites in support of the Armenians. Remember, Turkey is supporting Azerbaijan in this mess.
Continued calls for a cease fire not being heeded by either side.

Wuhan Virus -

The President is reported to be doing well at Walter Reed Medical center, having transferred over there yesterday. They continue to say his symptoms are ‘mild’. He is receiving Regeneron’s polyclonal antibody cocktail. The experimental nature of this treatment is the driving reason for his transfer to WRMC. The First Lady is also reported to be doing well in quarantine at the WH.

We’ve known this battle to be the next for months now. A paper published in the New England Journal of Medicine has called for mandating a coronavirus vaccine, and outlined strategies for how Americans could be FORCED to take it. The paper states vaccinations should be voluntary at first with later rounds mandated and “noncompliance should incur a penalty” and notes that it should be a “relatively substantial” one.

Economy -
Job growth continues but at a slower than anticipated rate and unemployment rate dropped to 7.9%.
NYC facing a surge in bankruptcy of about 40%. Its restaurant industry has been so hard hit it may take years to recover.
Disney is laying off about 28,000 workers.
US auto sales dropped 9.7% but those buying were interested in more expensive models.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
Numerous BLM/Antifa “protests” are scheduled today across the nation.

The Washington Examiner is reporting a survey conducted by Engagious, Sports and Leisure Research Group and ROKK Solutions (I’ve never heard of these groups nor can vouch for their accuracy), the results of which claim that 61% of Americans say the US is on the verge of a civil war and 52% are already preparing for it. “We have been conducting surveys of consumers and employees since the beginning of April in order to help industries make strategic decisions in the month ahead. The current data shows an alarming trend that that extreme political polarization of our country has a majority of Americans concerned that our country could be a powder keg ready to explode into a Civil War,” said Ron Bonjean, a partner at ROKK Solutions.

My gut feeling is that though the numbers may be off, I think that there is a substantial amount of the population making some kind of preparations. Evidence outside these unknown pollsters include the skyrocketing sales of weapons and ammunition. More evidence comes from the left with almost daily threats/promises of civil war like actions against Trump supporters regardless of the election results. Such threats by the left used to be keep under wraps and considered to be ‘conspiracy ‘ talk. Stores and states are stockpiling contingency supplies to counter another grocery rush as happened this spring.

Election 2020 -
Two republican senators now have been infected with the wuhan virus - both on the judiciary committee. Could throw a delay in Barrett’s nomination process.

Armenian / Azerbaijani -
More propaganda to sift through, but it would seem Armenia is on the losing side of this battle in the long term. As I noted, this is a war of attrition. Yesterday, Armenia called for a cease fire and talks.

Black Swans -
Still monitoring the quake swarm in S Ca. USGS upped its potential to trigger a bigger quake to 1 in 300. Again, a concern is a magnitude 8 range quake ripping from Salton Sea region to Tejon Pass.
