Because if this holds, it’s game over for them come the election.

This is likely meant to alter strategy to put less effort in the contested demographic area.

Around 2006, I worked with a Black man who was far more concerned about immigration than me. I think Blacks feel a much greater impact from illegal immigration than is generally realized. If so, Trump should really beat the wall/sanctuary city drum hard.

We didn’t “all know” this was coming. Some of us did, and said so, urging the gop to reach out to the Black community with respect and integrity; but we were usually drowned out by the horde of little Einstein’s around FR who for years, told us it was futile to ever expect the Black vote to move. Black Americans, from OJ to Michael Brown, etc, have always had a more negative view of law enforcement, and are sensitive to the fact that innocent men are railroaded by the system.
Perhaps they are identifying with Trump as he suffers through this impeachment kangaroo court. He is being railroaded by the system, so Blacks feel solidarity.
