In which one of the heroes was Rick Rescorla, whom President Trump honored recently for his heroism on 9/11.
Reescorla fought at X-Ray and Albany.

Aloha Ronnie (RIP) was always one to mention Rick, here is an old thread.
After the Trade Center was hit by the van in the basement, Rick got together with some of his other buddies (some vets) and tossed out the idea that the next time the terrorists hit they would do it with large hijacked planes. And he made his company do lots of drills with that in mind.
When the first tower got hit and the voice over the speakers told the second tower to stay there, Rick was already getting his people down the stairs! (Before it was confirmed it was an airplane strike.)
I met Lt Gen Moore at a military school and got him to sign his book for me. It is the only time I have ever asked for an author to sign his book and will probably be the last.
