Why not get a real license ? Be a real contractor. Handymen are shady
Plus from your perspective. What do you use as contracts ? Do you even use them ? If you dont and someone doesnt pay. Then what ?
You have NO STANDING in court without license AND PERMITS
do you pull permits for your jobs ? You better.
Most of the law ( liens etc ). Protect You
Illegal aliens try this gambit here in CA all the time. I can tell you for a fact as an electrician I have to CLEAN UP TGEIR ILLEGAL WIRING ALL THE TIME and it pisses me off !
