Flag happy................
Green Bay was going to win and the Refs made sure.........
I saw the end of that game, the bad calls.
They really have to go to video penalty review. Two per team.
Thank you, refs!!
Weve given up the NFL, but we love college football and this year we have more terrible calls that have affected the outcomes of games. You almost think there is something crooked going on.
Was this the same crew that ref’d the New Orleans play off game?
The only hands to the face on one of the videos was done by Green Bay to the player on Detroit that was flagged.
NFL is like professional wrestling - athletic theatre.
I am glad people are finally talking openly about this stuff.
We are somehow ok to talk about all kinds of nefarious theories in politics but referees are pure as the driven snow.
they are not.
I have believed for some time that the NFL is among the worst. it is pro wrestling
It is not real.
I would encourage people to study and complain about stats that can be observed at
nflpenalties.com
As a Cowboys fan I have been amazed how we can pay a billion dollars a year for payroll for a team but they can barely if ever make it to the playoffs.
I have an idea “holding”
On which plays of the NFL does holding NOT occur?
zero
Refs are controlling the outcomes to manage ratings for the NFL.
I watched the cowboys lose to the Jets and there was a clear key play where Jets committed delay of game. Commentators said nothing.
FIFA soccer went through a refereeing scandal some years ago.
NFL is long over due. There ought to be long blogs about the outrageous nonsense
The problem also afflicts college football. Memphis game this past saturday was indicative.
Refs stole the game from the Lions. I saw it with my own eyes and I like the Packers.
Just sayin'....
What is this NFL you speak of, some sort of genuflecting competition?
What is this NFL you speak of, some sort of genuflecting competition?
The call lls toward the end of the game were complete horse crap. ThePacker Offensive lineman clearly had hands to the face, and the packer defensive back clearly committed pass interference. I saw that on a 32 TV at 15 feet away. Horse crap. Someone was determined the Packers would win and the Refs made that happen.
NFL admits it blew game-changing Packers-Lions call:

There were a few years in the 1990s - 2009 or so when the officiating was quite good.
Not sure what happened or why, but the officiating the past few years — and particularly this year — has been abysmal. One egregious mistake after another.
