How The NFL Referee Got Together To Ruin The Lions Vs Packers Game & Whats Next!
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
As a Cowboys fan I have been amazed how we can pay a billion dollars a year for payroll for a team but they can barely if ever make it to the playoffs
Jerry Jones stole the Yankees playbook!
Just sayin'....
What is this NFL you speak of, some sort of genuflecting competition?

I like the TMO route. My only concern would be to not put too much power in the hands of one official. Thats why Id go with two, if not three that would act as one voice. It would need to be so obvious that they would have to agree, quickly. If in doubt, or no consensus, then the call stands.
No reviews by coaches. To stop play, both or all three would have to buzz down before the next play. Then maybe they have 30 seconds to confer and render. Otherwise the play stands.
That would remedy the obvious calls and mitigate ticky-tack calls.
NFL National Felons League.
The TMO doesn’t seem to have the final word. Sometimes it all depends on how the ref asks the question. “Is there any reason why I can’t award a try?” vs “Is it a try?” But most refs also ask the question “Are we all agreed?”. Plus, as a viewer you get to hear the entire conversation. The crowd gets to see what the TMO is showing the ref on the stadium screen.
This is not to say there aren’t controversies, but the whole approach seems to be more open to the fans watching.
Yeah, I may watch just to see if Jim Zorn tries the ol’ ‘Swinging Gate’ play again up in Seattle.........LOL
If he does, he’ll be doing it with Brandon Silvers. He’s Seattle’s #1 quarterback.
No, he’ll be doing it with whatever sacrificial kicker he’s got who won’t mind eating the turf when the play collapses the second the ball is in motion.
The call lls toward the end of the game were complete horse crap. ThePacker Offensive lineman clearly had hands to the face, and the packer defensive back clearly committed pass interference. I saw that on a 32 TV at 15 feet away. Horse crap. Someone was determined the Packers would win and the Refs made that happen.
This morning on GMA:

There were a few years in the 1990s - 2009 or so when the officiating was quite good.
Not sure what happened or why, but the officiating the past few years — and particularly this year — has been abysmal. One egregious mistake after another.
Yup, any buzz, negative or positive about the NFL is good for them and sports media which is driven by the NFL. All the controversy in the media takes away from the fact that the NFL has simply been a complete garbage product for years and years apart from kneeling, concussions and domestic abuse and crime.
Freegards
Both calls were really bad, though Detroit really put themselves in a bad position by not scoring more TDs.
