UPDATE from Gracie’s parents-Yesterday was Gracie’s best day to date. Our biggest concerns were the fact there has been no change in pain and swelling...fluid in lungs and swelling in thighs, knees and feet have built back up again. However, the pain is being much better managed now than before except for some reason when she sleeps any length of time the pain gets away from her.
Good news- Her BP numbers are coming down and the ketones are getting smaller too and we are hoping they move her out of triage soon.
She is at risk for blood clots and pneumonia but we are thankful to say the baby is doing well. Thanks so much for the continued prayers!

The swelling from a bad infection like that takes a LONG time to go down.
Been there, done that.
It’s miserable.

Dear God, please continue Your support for these and all who are in need and want. We praise you and we thank you.

A family member’s pregnancy was determined “high risk” because of her rare blood type....which if not carefully monitored the swelling etc. she was plagued with could cause serious problems as her due date approached..... she swelled up pretty badly before and during labor...lots of pain. but she did deliver a healthy baby boy.
