Another Update- wanted to keep you all in the loop because you have been so kind to pray...The situation has become increasingly complicated...the new steroid affects blood sugar levels, but they believed that it was necessary and they will aggressively manage the blood sugars with hourly glucose checks. Mentally Grace is in a really bad place and understandably so. We are praying the doctors can manage the blood sugar, pain, and guide in the decision making. They are praying she doesn’t go into full on labor but any exertion brings on contractions. She is having pain from those contractions on top of the staph...they considered giving her an epidural to at least get rid of some of that pain but because of the infection they have decided against it.
May our Lord Jesus Christ, who knew intense suffering, have Mercy on our dear Gracie and her child and
may He grant some measure of peace to all of her loved ones that are suffering with her.

I had MRSA once.
It’s excruciatingly painful, a burning searing pain that is unrelenting.
Poor girl.
Our first grandson was born at 29 weeks. He spent a few months in the unit but had no lasting issues and is now 20 months old, walking, talking and loving life. The care of preterm infants has really come along in the last 2 decades.
God has a plan for this mother & her child. May he hold them up, sustain them & deliver them from harm.

Would You reach down and touch her? would You heal her and her baby? Would you comfort and strengthen her family? Thank you Lord. Amen
