What he is doing is being a variant of a “Social Mugger”. Similar to a SJW being “triggered”. Read “Beyond the Picket Fence” Pg. 213 section by Robert Juliano.
The ways to deal with him are hilarious and will infuriate him beyond belief. Any threats from him to have you leave are hollow. You just have to keep your cool.
The County Democrats supported incumbent Joe’s opponent of course and she supported them. They raised property taxes during a recession when honest Reagan Democrats were underwater and paying what they had promised to pay.
The Reagan Democrats in the district were outraged and wanted the scalp of all Democrats.
So what does Joe Walsh due? He jumps the shark attacking and belittling the military service of his opponent. Well, the Reagan Democrats love the military and defend veterans from attacks on their service. Joe Walsh made himself the enemy rather than the Tax-n-Spend Democrats.
Then Joe campaigned on “Pro Life, No Exceptions.” Well, that district has a lot of voters who are ProLife With Exceptions. As with most ProLife candidates, he should campaign “ProLife. Period.” No need to go into the weeds. (This was the same election Aiken and Murdoch went into the weeds.)
Joe had a good campaign manager who gave Joe good advice. Joe did not listen to or heed that good advice.
