This is part two of what I thought was a folksy little post introducing myself to the group so if I comment or post, you’d have some idea who I was. Since the majority of people thought it should be a separate post, I have done that. Here is part one for those who haven’t read it: PART ONE
I was overwhelmed by the response and thank you all. I tried to reply to all and forgive me if I missed anyone. One post mentioned RINOs. I wonder if RINOs aren’t really just Democrats who couldn’t exist in that Communist party, so they became Republican because what else could they do? But as I open more and more to who the Democrats really are, I would not be surprised if Democrats join the Republican party to be moles and 5th columns.
After Trump became President, the worst thing was his tweeting--not the actual tweets, but MSM distortion. It was maddening. I hate it when people are lied about, even when I strongly dislike them. Since I knew most of the MSM is Democrat, and since the Democrats in Congress bashed Trump’s tweets with the same lies, that right there let me know the kind of people I was dealing with. Then the Russia Collusion and obstruction lies, the border lies, and what for me is a very big thing, the Israel lies. It got to be that if their lips were moving they were lying. But some Democrats felt a wave of hope when Pelosi began to double down on The Squad. They lied about her, saying she was a racist and endangering them, and President Trump defended her. That showed class.
Then came this latest tweet storm. I saw it shared. It looked like a tweet from Donald Trump. There were no splice marks, it had his twitter picture and title, there was just a coherent, and repulsive, tweet. But I’m not an amateur any more. I went to his actual twitter account and read the original tweet and was unsurpised to find the tweet that is being shared all over the internet is fake. It cuts off the last half. But while he defended Pelosi from lies, she refused to return in kind and embraced the lying tweet and the four Communists, ending forever the idea she has any character or she’s not a Communist herself. But when I went to FOX News, I was stunned and horrified to see everyone, EVERYONE, apparently reacting to the fake one, and not the real one. They all claimed he told four congresswomen to go back where they came from. HE DIDN'T. This network had won grudging respect. Now this.
To put it in context, we have four women, one from Somalia, one whose antecedents are Palestinian, one had antecedents from Puerto Rico, one from Chicago. All places that are a total mess. All they have done is criticize this country, say it is a racist hellhole, say how awful it is, a steaming pile of poop basically, that one can only conclude they or their parents made a horrible mistake ever coming here or staying here. So Trump basically said, if that's how you feel, go back where you came from, work to fix it and when you have, THEN COME BACK and show us how it's done. In context of their criticisms he was responding to, he’s saying that once you’ve fixed those places which apparently are not as bad, now you can fix us, which is apparently the worst based on your own statements. Now look, the phrase, THEN COME BACK, has absolutely NO leeway in interpreting it. Anyone who says Trump told them to go back where they came from and stay there is lying. It isn't racist or xenophobic. Now most people, Democrats or Republicans, want to fix things wrong with the country but pretty much all feel that if it just totally sucks in your eyes, leave, because you aren't a prisoner here. This isn't a communist country (yet!) and there is no Berlin Wall. That’s not racist, even if it's harsh. But all over FOX and the conservative columnists, they were falsely claiming he told them to go back where they came from. I wrote to several conservative columnists and FOX News hosts. I’ve been keeping track, on FOX Hannity said the true tweet right away, Pirro corrected guests who referenced the fake one, Gutfeld posted the two different tweets showing the altering (and yet it bounced off two off two guests and they still talked like the fake tweet was true, even though they had just seen it!) Without overtly referencing the hoax, Tucker and Ingraham still gave no quarter. So far everyone else on FOX clearly intends to hold to the hoax one. I have gotten no answers to my letters. I don’t know if people flooding them with letters would help. Changes at the top seem to be changing FOX to FAUX. Right before finishing this article, I saw Cavuto nearly cheering for impeachment. So it was time to look for more news and video choices.
Among ones I’ve looked at I found the Free Beacon. But I thought I remembered from somewhere that there was another Free something-or-other. Free Republic? I searched for it, and looked around, and knew this was a place to continue this journey.
Thank you for being here and for your welcome. After this I want to spend some time feeling my way around, seeing posts, learning the formats, etc.
I haven’t joined the “cut the cord” group just yet.

Since you mentioned “talking heads” would it be indelicate of me, if I were to notice that there must a bezillion twenty year old women who are experts and analysts.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not objecting, being female myself, but, wow it is a little overwhelming.
Feel the same way except it’s on the man side. Anderson cooper threatens me with his ice cold stares.

I’m certainly looking for books, am reading a conspiracy history right now. Things are making more and more sense...I live in Tucson, and have Epperson’s book. Read it a long, long time ago and can’t remember exactly what I thought of it. But it definitely is on the list. And I’ll look for the other one. I feel almost frenzied to read now.
I need to figure out who’s who in that score a little better.

I have a tendency to make sarcastic remarks too. It helped me a lot being a lurker for years before I posted. I learned so much. This is really a great Free Republic site.
