It sounds to me more like the ex has, for one reason or another, a deep personal grudge against the husband. She wishes to do more than hurt him. She wants to destroy him. To make him a walking dead man, And she is using the child to do it. That it will also, later in its life destroy the child, does not bother her in the least, as long as she takes down her ex. In reality, she probably hates the child also. I am just thankful that I am not the ex.
