Weak field. Not likely to get stronger.
Once indictments come out (and they will) the Dem base will #WalkAway some more.
I think Trump wins in a landslide with very comfortable margins in House and Senate. Second term should be a beautiful thing.
Or a very violent thing. All Trump’s fault, of course.
All 50 states go red. Snowflakes riot. Demand end of Electoral College, but they also don’t get the popular vote.
Since 1988, the Dems have been fielding weak candidates: 1988 Dukakis governor of Massachussets, small podunk Northeastern state, home of Willy Horton and Whitey Bolger and the Kennedy crime family; 1992 and 1996 Bill Clinton, governor of Arkansas, small podunk Southern state, home of the Clinton crime family and assorted friends, many of whom died of Arkancide; 2000, Al Gore, overrated Senator from Tennessee, and member of Gore crime family, author of junk science books and films about global warming; 2004, John Kerry, overrated Senator from Massachusetts, known for fake throwing medals over a fence, spending 3 and a half months in Vietnam, and trading heavily on his status to butt in line, park in handicap zones, and stiff restaurants for bills all over Boston; 2008 and 2012 Barry the community organizer from Chicago. Now we’ve got a whole smurf village raring to go. What’s missing is the religious fervor that animated Clinton and Barry’s candidacies, and which deTocqueville says is a sin qua non for selling centralized administration of any kind to the people. Barring the unforeseeable, this will not even be close, no matter which smurf gets the nomination. Trump will win in a landslide.
