Out in the wild internet you can find all sorts of homemade guns. Even a 12 gauge handgun, which isnt a common thing to build. This aspiring gunsmith out in the boonies built one which resembles a 1911 pistol. Its not quite a Diablo 12 gauge handgun in quality and craftsmanship, but this does work as you'll see.
The thing is shooting a gun built from a well known gun manufacturer is fine because its a trust issue. You know its not going to blow up in your face or takes your hand off. But, if your buddy saids, he got this homemade 12 gauge pistol from his friend sister cousin, who's from the Phillippines. I don't know.
Maybe, were being too much of a party pooper. Its that a 12 gauge shotgun shell was meant to be used in a long gun, not a homemade pistol. The heavy recoiling 12 gauge shotshell is about to give this guy a serious whiplash. Would you defy the odds and take a chance to fire this homemade 12 gauge pistol? See the footage of homemade 12 gauge pistol.
Agreed.

Army manuals illustrate a lot of improvised weapons based on this simple design. I’d trust 3/4 inch galvanized pipe for a few shots. The idea would be to acquire a better weapon with the improvised one, I would think.
TRUE. - During WWII various small resistance groups in Europe made any number of improvised pistols/shotguns/other weapons to use, generally for one or a few shots, to acquire a factory-made firearm from an unwary member of the German military/police formations. - Even some crude gunpowder & explosives were made from “scratch” using some simple/locally procured substances like sulphur, potassium nitrate, charcoal, MOGAS & diesel fuel.
(The British War Office & other groups like the SOE actually produced/scattered “cartoons” to give basic instructions on making/using “field expedient weapons” & simple means to commit sabotage of enemy materials.)
