Lost his seat due to corruption charges, if I recall correctly - appears that personal integrity isn’t a big facet of any part of his life. And after Denny Hastert, it’s not like Illinoisans have come to expect much from their options on the Republican line.

Because it’s good for us to know what kind of Snakes in the Grass were sitting there in Congress. Nobody told us he was a homo at the time, I think it’s very relevant to know set the people who represented our interest or wide open to Blackmail at the time. And that’s why we don’t get their best efforts

Could have figured that a straight guy wouldn't have spent so much on office décor ...
Well, maybe things will work out for the guy ...

Representing the will of his constituents over his own personal proclivities?
How dare he!
That is absolutely unacceptable for a member of the modern American Political Aristocrat Class.

I don’t care if they snort Plutonium so long as they vote the right way.

Lives in West Hollywood and they are surprised. Right
And Bill Clinton gave us “don’t ask don’t tell”, bet he didn’t get a zero rating from Homofascist Rights Scampaign.
How about Hillary’s opposition to same sex marriage in 2008?

I disagree. The Republicans who campaign as conservatives embracing strong family values have to be held to that standard. Hypocrisy is one of the traits we cannot tolerate.

I’m okay with all of that, as long as the pols don’t lie about their personal lives in the campaign. One can’t help but suspect that a lot of those who betray us are keeping secrets.

Big deal...I wouldn’t care if he was seen in public kissing a space alien. It isn’t my concern. He is an ex-congressman.

Schock being gay was an open secret.
And he didn’t just make out with the guy. He was photographed with his hands down the front of the guy’s pants, which is not really appropriate behavior in front of a crowd.
