I have always contended, that some 95% of all human woe is self-induced, by defiance or willful ignorance carried to extremes.
However, an exception must be made for Muslims. Fully 100% of all the persecutions and personal misfortunes they are subject to come about as a result of of their adherence to the literal words of the Koran, which calls for Muslims to actively subjugate all non-Muslims, while apparently not ever taking into account there just might be some push-back, and with particularly harsh outcomes clearly NOT predicted in the words of the prophet Mohammed.
