Tom Brady will be going for a sixth Super Bowl victory when his New England Patriots take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
But the legendary quarterback will have at least one famous face cheering against him - Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.
In an interview with Variety, Daniel called out Brady for his support of American president Donald Trump.
In 2015, a Make America Great Again hat was spotted in Brady's locker, prompting the quarterback to declare that it "would be great" if Trump became president...

I value this British child’s opinion as much as I value Dan Rather’s.
Glad I'm not the only one. I have a hard time separating the actor playing a part, from the person excoriating people exactly like me for having a contrary opinion. Why give money to those who hate me? I used to catch a flick often - several times a month. Now, it's maybe one a year.
Having said that, I went to a movie last week - prob the only one I'll bother with this year - called "They Shall Not Grow Old". It's the WW I documentary done by Peter Jackson. If you are into that kind of history, it was impressive. Be sure to stick around for Jackson's commentary afterwards, it was interesting to find out how they colorized all the old films. I enjoy history from the standpoint of the people who lived it, and the movie was exactly that - no commentary and fatuous exposition from "expert historians" was shown at all.
Before that? My kid dragged me to the last "Avengers" movie. It was exactly the same as the first two, and similar to the rest of the comic book movies I've seen. Waste of time and money, though I did enjoy the evening out with WBill Jr.
Heh. See my post #82. Great Minds, and all that. :-)
But hes Harry Potter, and he graduated from Hogwash High.
Absolutely! Funny how we had nearly the same take on the issue!
I am really looking forward to seeing that film...glad to hear from someone who has seen it.
Some Freepers post video from the beginning of the 20th Century Paris or London, and I find that footage which has been “fixed” to make it not look like “Charlie Chaplin” to be irresistable!
I am a fan of 3D movies, and I accumulated a number of them before the technology went belly up and they stopped making them back in 2015, and the Avengers was one of them. Visually, it was fun to watch in 3D, but...the plot is pretty vacuous. Eye candy. I never did buy Avatar, but I did watch it, and I couldn’t even bring myself to buy it, the plot was so utterly leftist driven!

My point, if there is one... Either version would be impressive. I'm planning to see the movie again, if possible. I was so blown away by the visual effects that I often found myself thinking "Wait, what was just said?". It will be good to see it again and pick up on everything that I missed.
"Avengers"? Meh. Was just talking to WBill Jr about the "Avengers 4" movie that's coming out. My prediction is that there will be a big swirly thing in the sky, and that there will be a major battle with a CGI army at the end. Couple of the main characters are going to die...they've been setting that one up since day one.
He said, "DAAAAaaad!!". Probably because he knew I was right. :-) I may take him to it, just so that I can rib him about it afterwards.
That is pretty much how I feel about movies like Avatar and Gravity...I am loathe to give any money to leftists, but...the 3D effects on my home television are pretty cool (both plots kind of suck)
I will say, though, with the Avengers, both my brother and I greatly enjoyed the part where the Incredible Hulk slammed Loki’s body into the ground repeatedly from side to side, paused, and then did it once more for good measure!
I think I enjoyed it because I can visualize various political figures of our day being subjected to that...
“Puny God.” Best part of the movie.
Heheheh, I forgot that verbiage...:)
Made me laugh when I read your post...thanks!
if after 5 complete innings or 4 and half with home team leading. Not when rain comes down, when it gets too heavy and lasts too long.
Brady doesn’t even support Trump anymore. He didn’t go to the White House last time b/c he didn’t want to be seen with Trump. His wife was posting info about a resistance march while the team was at the White House. A NYT article later said they don’t talk anymore.
Never heard of him....
LOL, thanks, that is interesting to know...I was joking about drawing parallels between those two sports...:)
But...thank you!
“Brady didnt kneel with the kneegroes, but he did link arms with them at the start of at least one game a couple of seasons ago.”
I’m sorry to disagree. I saw the video of Brady on his knee before a game started.
I do like your new word, “Kneegroes”! ;-)

Well, I’m disappointed to learn that bit of info.
I was boycotting the NFL for awhile so I must have (happily) missed that game.
His wife Gisele, worth 300 million dollars plus, is at least somewhat liberal, so I wonder if she had anything to do with it.
I am a diehard Cowboys fan, but I am rooting for Brady, just because.
Little Daniel Radcliffe would would probably like to eat Brady's jock strap.
Tom Brady is too much of a man to reply to DR. I hope he wins the Super Bowl.
