The Wall Will be Built, One Way or Another. Stop Whining.

Really? This guy was actually a candidate? Who knew? – You will all no doubt be highly saddened to know that Richard Ojeda has dropped out of the race for the 2020 Democrat Party’s presidential nomination.

I can hear the gears clinking furiously in minds everywhere out there, as you take to Google to figure out just who in the hell is Richard Ojeda? So, let me tell you: He’s a state senator from West Virginia. I have no earthly idea when he announced he was running, but on Friday he announced he wasn’t, and that actually made news for some reason.

The candidate no one had ever heard of said that, although “The indications were very positive from an overwhelming response to our videos, to thousands of volunteers, and a level of grassroots fundraising support that grew every day,” he doesn’t “want to see people send money to a campaign that’s probably not going to get off the ground.”

Oh. Ok. Adios, dude.

In other, real news… – The Commie’s in! Yes, friends and enemies, Bernie Sanders is going to be providing more Soviet-style gruel for the leftist masses for the next two years, as expected. Yahoo News reports that he will formally announce his bid just as soon as he can use other people’s money to rent a room at some Washington, DC hotel.

Awesome. The 2020 campaign just wouldn’t have been the same without this grifting lunatic weaving his envy-based fantasies for all the college students to soak in.

Why can’t people listen anymore? – I’ve always marveled at the inability of the leftist mind to listen and absorb what is actually being said in a speech. Sadly, this same lack of attention span appears to have now afflicted many on the right as well.

Yesterday, President Trump gave a speech that lasted about 20 minutes or so, in which he announced that he had reached an agreement with congressional “leaders” to re-open the semi-closed government and get all the federal employees paid via a three-week continuing resolution (CR). That part of the speech consumed about one of the twenty minutes.

Those who actually listened to the speech in its entirety and absorbed what was actually said heard the President spend the other 19 minutes of it making making the case for why the current situation along our Southern border constitutes a true national emergency, and why the building of a wall is necessary to relieve it. Mr. Trump further promised that, if congress has failed to allocate his requested $5.7 billion in wall and border security funding at the end of the 21-day period of the CR, he will use his authority to issue an executive order declaring a national emergency and use funds his staff has already identified in the defense budget to immediately begin adding to the 630 miles of border wall that already exist.

Oddly, the only part of the speech most Trump “supporters” apparently heard was the deal on the CR. Despite the reality that Donald Trump is the first President since Ronald Reagan who has kept promise after promise after promise, the backlash among his supposed supporters on social media was immediate and harsh. Twitter was immediately filled with the wailings of thousands of Trumpians accusing the President of “caving” and whining that his presidency is now somehow over.

For those still clinging to that notion this morning, let me try to explain what really happened on Friday:

President Trump acted to ensure employees in the Coast Guard and Department of Homeland Security did not miss a second paycheck, and to ensure the flight disruptions that were taking place as several airports due to lack of personnel did not spread across the country and begin harming the overall economy; and The President put the onus on congressional Democrats to either negotiate a deal on border security or deal with the reality of a national emergency declaration. Seeing all the uproar taking place, the President tried to calm the waters with the following tweet:

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump I wish people would read or listen to my words on the Border Wall. This was in no way a concession. It was taking care of millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the Shutdown with the understanding that in 21 days, if no deal is done, it’s off to the races!

157K 6:33 PM - Jan 25, 2019 Twitter Ads info and privacy 116K people are talking about this As if that blunt statement needed more clarity, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders followed up with this:

Sarah Sanders ✔ @PressSec In 21 days President @realDonaldTrump is moving forward building the wall with or without the Democrats. The only outstanding question is whether the Democrats want something or nothing

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump I wish people would read or listen to my words on the Border Wall. This was in no way a concession. It was taking care of millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the Shutdown with the understanding that in 21 days, if no deal is done, it’s off to the races!

42.8K 7:28 PM - Jan 25, 2019 Twitter Ads info and privacy 26.6K people are talking about this Are we clear now, or are there still some who need it boiled down into 25 words or less? If so, here you go:

The wall is going to be built, one way or another. Stop whining, and pay better attention.

That is all.

Yes we will change for sure. Example, go back into history
to 1492 when Columbus sailed the ocean blue. The natives
didn’t speak English but in time they lost control of their
country and English became the norm. That may well change
again at some point as you say.

The problem is now, what is Trump going to have to give up to get the Wall?

Amnesty? DACA?

Mr. Kobach is now teaming up with private landowners with private funds to build walls on private land along the border. There’s not a thing anyone can do to stop that. PDJT gave his approval for this. Kobach is saying that the costs can be halved and even go down to one quarter of the costs for govt. constructed walls

Cheer up kid it’s already happening nobody will stop our Prezzy

Point taken, but how much longer are we going to allow the pearl-clutchers to climb back on.

Maybe we ought let them swim with the liberal sharks.

Besides the pay The Donald knew that the air travel charade of sicknouts would be a real impact especially with the super bowl coming up andcatlanta being involved. His TV instincts saw that as being the next big meme of the MSM. Is. Trump tanks super bowl , travelers stranded. Etc.

He is setting the battleground to take the smirk, of Pelosi / Schumer’s face and more importantly put John Roberts in a position that Congress couldn’t come up With a solution so he excercised his constitutional authority to protect our sovereignty . That’s what the majority of the speech is about .

He also knows San Fran Nan in no way will let a state of the union occur before the end of the 3 weeks even though the Dems said no SOTU until
Govt is open. So he laid out his logic yesterday

One by one the traps are set and he’s summed up in One line his real intent to not Cave as the MSM would portray and weak minded would believe

This is one of those topics where a timer ping button on FR would be great. Set it for a year, get pinged back to the thread and gloat if the wall has been built/major progress started or not. Repeat. I recall thinking the same in the great Palin running/not running debates of Long Ago. As it is these things seem to fade out as most topics of the internet age.

My take: President Trump has proven me wrong before. But I can’t see any major progress on a Southern border wall taking place. Love to be proved wrong.

I contacted her last night with my Ouija board. She’s in excellent spirits.

The last we heard was 5 days ago when Fox and Friends accidentally put up the graphic of her being dead. Before that in december her doctors were saying no signs of cancer...

I agree wholeheartedly you, The Deplorable Miss Lemon.

I'm with our president no matter what. He's all we have. It's him against the world and if we don't have his back, who will?

I don't cotton the whiners, moaners, groaners and complainers who are so quick to abandon the best president we've ever had because they can't see beyond their own selfish noses.

Nothing ever got done in a straight line. Sometimes bobbing and weaving are necessary to win the fight.

My question for all of those who have so abruptly abandoned President Trump, who do they support?

I think it’s worse being a pearl clutcher...you don’t stand for anything if you’re willing to fall for anything...at least liberals stand for something...

Good for you and God bless!! I heard Eric Trump the other day talking with Dr. Gorka. Eric said that his father warned that the presidency was going to be brutal. Eric said they could handle it.

President Trump also said, “We will find out who are real friends are.” And yes he has discovered that “friends” like Romney are the norm rather than the exception!!

Stay strong, my friend, we are winning.

Thank you both, you have said what I have been thinking since yesterday afternoon.

To the many who are so upset with PDJT: do you actually believe that he has a magic wand and can do the things you want without any preparation? Should he bring charges against Clinton without an airtight case? Should he have started right away building a wall without any input from the people who will have to be working at the wall, without professional advice on the land conditions and how they will affect the structure? There is wall construction and strengthening going on right now.

It takes time to do a good job. And he is doing it in spite of the dems and the never trumpers and those who want to take the ball and go home because they didn’t get their way.

Many thumbs up for you, glad to know another Trump supporter!

One thing that is often overlooked is that presidents can not wear blinders and work on one issue at a time. His day begins at 6am and ends ? Who knows? He is not an Obama with his seven almonds and plenty of leisure time.

He is one man working his fingers to the bone for us and our children, I don’t see anyone else stepping up to the plate.
