The chief executive of the parent company of Gillette, which recently ran an advertisement depicting traditional views of masculinity as immoral and abusive, refused to back down on Thursday.
It started a conversation, Proctor & Gamble chief executive David Taylor said in an interview with CNBCs Sara Eisen Thursday. There is an issue with tox masculinity.
Taylor, who spoke to Eisen at the globalist boondoggle in Davos, described the negative reaction to the video as coming from a well organized but small number of people.
Proctor & Gamble reported earnings this week that beat expectations but the company continues to struggle with sales in its grooming division, which includes Gillette razors.
(snip)
Taylor did not explain how attacking toxic masculinity would help Gillette sell more razors to male consumers.

The only thing that I wish we could find an alternative for is Dawn.
Persil makes a laundry detergent that supposed to be better than Tide and we don’t really use much of any other of their products.
They absolutely make quality stuff but either we don’t care for it, or have found suitable substitutes,
Except for Dawn. That stuff REALLY works.

This fumbling moe should be fired by P & G.
His job as CEO is to get profits and by taking this stoopid social stand he has damaged his product.
Wait to see Gilletts profit after this year.
Stock holders should be up in arms.
Get a pitch fork?
Gillett can take their product and shove it.
Got to wonder if maybe this stoopid took all his stock and traded it for dollar shave club stock?

Exactly. The only issue that should concern the CEO of Procter and Gamble is selling more razors, not some “feel good” progressive message. And from what I have read his ad has not increase the sales of his razors.

I think a bigger question is what is it with a cultural trend that elevates hysterical, vaporing, pansy like personalities, gender irrespective. A interesting example: During the height of the Iraq War an Army female captain, who was a USMC grad, I think, had her left arm blown off at the shoulder by an IED. Getting her artificial limb to work correctly and not cause constant pain in the shoulder stump took a while. The captain was chided by higher ups about making public appearances with no prosthesis and her uniform sleeve just tucked in. She was told this sent a ‘disturbing message’to the public. She was a quite good looking woman. The Ied blast also left her with a big scar from eye socket to chin bone. The captain made it clear she wanted no, repeat no, plastic surgery. Eventually though she was progressing well in making the required physical goals to go back to full duty status she was abruptly separated due to ‘down sizing’. Privately some male officer friends told her she was considered ‘uncooperative’ and ‘a prima donna’. ‘Of course I am a bit of a role player. I wanted to be the woman officer with the good looking face and the big scar to say ‘This is the Army, this is what we do.’ Her buddies told her the language of some pretty high ranking officers was ‘The Army isn't about heroism, it is about being first last and always a team player and sensitive to what those above you want. We don't want the civilians to either see what war is about or worst of all think the Army is glorifying war’.
So that is the bigger question, What makes weak cowardice and gutlessness the desired norm in our culture. for all of its members. What is wanted is a culture of physical cowardice and weepy hysteria.

I used dawn for a while.
Last time I was in Walmart they had their own brand which is supposed to be the same as dawn. I have been using it and I think they are correct.
