"The gas is believed to be phosgene"
As published around 5am by BBC News online, removed from later versions
It was just last month (November 11th) that world leaders from some 80 nations gathered at the Arc de Triomphe to commemorate the end of World War I.
It was reported earlier this morning that its believed a battlefield gas from World War I, phosgene, is being used in that same area against the "yellow vest" protesters today.
An account on the BBC website saying that was published around 5am Eastern, but a later version did not mention it.....

Ok, not what I was taught, but I did read what you wrote. Definitely a very nasty chemical in any case, and like others here said, it’s a war crime (or crime against humanity, or whatever) if he uses it.
There’s nowhere libtards wont go defending libtardism. Nowhere.
I remember NBC training well.

(CDC) Immediate signs and symptoms of phosgene exposure
During or immediately after exposure to dangerous concentrations of phosgene, the following signs and symptoms may develop:
Coughing
Burning sensation in the throat and eyes
Watery eyes
Blurred vision
Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
Nausea and vomiting
Skin contact can result in lesions similar to those from
frostbite or burns
Following exposure to high concentrations of phosgene, a
person may develop fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema)
within 2 to 6 hours.
Exposure to phosgene may cause delayed effects that may
not be apparent for up to 48 hours after exposure, even if
the person feels better or appears well following removal
from exposure. Therefore, people who have been exposed to
phosgene should be monitored for 48 hours afterward.
Delayed effects that can appear for up to 48 hours include
the following:
Difficulty breathing
Coughing up white to pink-tinged fluid (a sign of pulmonary
edema)
Low blood pressure
Heart failure
—>Showing these signs or symptoms does not necessarily mean that a person has been exposed to phosgene.<—
Kind of hard to believe - that comes when they start using live ammo to mow down big swaths of the crowds.
No actual person believes this report. It would be stupid of the face of things, if for no other reason than there are vastly more effective gas agents to control crowds than phosgene.
Phosgene does not kill immediately, it causes the protein in the alveoli to congeal, making it impossible for these parts of the lung to absorb oxygen. The victim actually dies of asphyxiation. perhaps a day later.
Obviously I wasnt there. Dont know anything about it. But Id bet ten grand it it didnt happen. Anyone involved would be looking at a crimes against humanity rap
That shit hydrolyzes to HCl in the lungs and causes lifelong, irreversible, permanent injury.
If this turns out to be true, Trump should threaten to nuke Brussels until they hand over Macron for crimes against humanity.
WTF were you doing with HF??? Yikes!
“”The gas is believed to be phosgene”
Not a chance.
But so far, the report looks unreliable.
Hit them with co2 gas and give them all a pocket full of posies. They will run for the hills. Madness.
great! ... a blog pimp posting about ridiculous fake “news” already withdrawn by the BBC .... just more garbage being posted on FR ...
How much difference is there between the EU, Russia and China? Can anyone tell with certainty? Many EU officials are NOT elected just like many communists are totalitarian officials.
The Brits and Germans would commandeer every taxi and drive on over.
Brazing refrigerant systems. Residual refrigerant burning as you’re brazing refrigerant lines.
Hydrochlorofluorocarbons R-22, very common in household AC(going away though),
Hydrofluorocarbons R-410a,R-134, newer refrigerants.
Freon and an open flame. Been there. Done that.
LMAO
