The vast CA wildfires didn't have to be so severe, but the religion of environmentalism prevents us from taking sensible measures to prevent them. This is part of the core of the Democrat Party.

Blame the voters who voted in, and keep in, the radical leftist RATS who are bought and paid for by the envirowhackos.
Yes, things could have been much better controlled.

Minutes ago I found out my friend in Malibu lost his ranch, his home and dozens of animals. He got out with a horse, a dog and a donkey. We was one of the Challengers Surf Band, an old surf band most of you won’t remember. All of their gold records and memorabilia.

That is an excellent headline, and it encapsulates exactly what has occurred here over the last few decades.
The upside of our last trio of wildfires is that even Gov. Brown has (quietly) admitted that Pres. Trump is correct.

Uncleared brush and dead trees have a more to do with these Mega-fires than Climate Change. Gov. Brown is finally allowing for the clearing of more trails. A little after the fact, true, but it’s a start in the right direction.
People have been warning of this coming scenario for over the last twenty years.

Indeed environmentalists cause more harm than good with their extreme actions.

Heh, the progs have turned San Pelosicisco brown in other ways, too.

Instead of the Star Trek SF having Star Fleet HQ, we’ve got sh*thole SF having dirty needle HQ.

Remember from many years ago the radical tree-sitters and tree-huggers who were the original activists in the "never cut down a tree" leftist environmental movement?

With California aflame, we're experiencing the wonderful results of their early arboreal activism NOW, aren't we !

Just like we're watching the caravan invasion hordes today....and we can again pretty much predict the future of this particular radical activism unless it's stopped. Cause and effect is inevitable in nature and human activity unless it's controlled as much as possible.

I damned near shot out my TV after seeing a guy by the name of Trumka talk about how California has “taken the lead” in acting on Climate Change.

Everyone should Publicly Thank the Sierra Club for all they have done. I will bet my last nickel that most if Not All of those affected in SoCal regularly Donate and Fully Support the Actions of the Sierra Club and the Environmental Communist Groups.

For me this is the definitive writing on managing forest fires. Dr. Wattenberg had late night radio show from the bay area. He worked at Lawrence Livermore Labs and was called the smartest man you can talk to for free (on the radio).

The state of Cal ignored him on gasoline additives and clearing underbrush from forests, He died 3 months ago, but his work is on the internet.

This isn’t new or even recent.

The Money Wrench Hang - authored by Edward Abbey Edward Abbey (now very much and long dead)

The novel concerns the use of sabotage to protest environmentally damaging activities in the Southwestern United States, and was so influential that the term “monkeywrench” has come to mean, besides sabotage and damage to machines, any sabotage, activism, law-making, or law-breaking to preserve wilderness, wild spaces and ecosystems.

They leave self-righteous, delusional and narcissist to describe these so-called Eco-protectors.....

These ass-hats were the bane of Nevada ranchers for years as these criminal dropped cement nto wells, shot holes in watering tanks (tho this may have ordinary drunken ass-hats for urban areas) wore up piping used to water cattle, knocked down corrals and so on.

These Eco-thugs seem to congregate in te Califlower. Must be the water.

"Never forget, according to the conventional wisdom as prescribed by California’s elites, if you don’t like it, you are a climate change “denier,” a “xenophobe,” and a “racist.”
Ironic that the eco movement is so overwhelmingly WHITE. OH, sure from time to time an episode may pop up on Animal Planet showing African natives saving elephants, rhinos or whatever the endangered species du jour, even then under the watchful eyes of scientists from the US, Europe, Austrailia, etc acting as so.many great White fathers. And sometimes a celeb "of color" would throw there star power behind some eco groups, for a price. But let's get real, when when the last time a brother saved a whale? 0bama? Sure only because he owes the greenies big time. The Sierra Club, Friends of the Earth the WWF may as well be WHITES ONLY clubs. I've seen more diversity at a NASCAR race.
