VIDEO

June 6, 1944 D-Day the allies are securing the beach of Normandy to defeat the nazis. However there have been massive in the beaches but the allies have won the battle and is moving through Europe to stop the nazis from taking over the country.

TOPICS: History; Humor
KEYWORDS: dday; documentary
This was the first video by my 12 year old nephew, James Jones which was uploaded yesterday. It is a documentary about D-Day using his toys as props.

BTW, he has a perfect photographic memory and remembers EVERYTHING he watches on YouTube's "Simple History." After one viewing about the weapons of the belligerent nations of WWI, he can recite what field guns were used by each nation of that war. For example, just ask him what weapon the Ottoman Empire soldiers used and he can give you the answer. Ditto for all the other countries.

Looks like he understands the sacrifice good men gave to defend his freedom.
Well done young man.
God bless.

Poor translation from another language? Or just ignorance?

Get James some Brick Arms. They are historically accurate lego figures. It would be great if he could continue his utube history channel with some cool lego guy’s.
He has some great camera effects with the waves and machine gun vibrations.
Brick Arms has a web site. I met the makers mom at a gun show. I think he is pretty young also.

James' first video got a good response so he just followed up with a new plush history video called The Assassination Of Archduke Franz Ferdinand Plush.

He messed up. He thought if he removed the original and uploaded an improved version it would just replace it. Of course, it didn’t but I told him to learn from his mistake. He has a few new videos already up including “Assassination Of Archduke Ferdinand Plush” and “Battle of the Somme Plush.”

I’m so impressed that a 12-yo knows his history so well...more than 90% of probably any middle school, high school, or college campus

I cringe at the thought of what passes for “history” these days in our schools.
