Stacey Abrams lost.
You may remember her shes the lady who wanted to ban the most popular hunting rifle in America for confusing reasons (for example: its dangerous) yet who wouldnt answer questions of confiscation (twice, covered here and here).
Also let by the wayside on Tuesday: Floridas Andrew Gillum. Hes the mayor of Tallahassee who was vying for the governorship.
Abrams was shootin for the same, in Georgia.
The two have a couple things in common: theyre Democrats, and
brace yourself I know this is triggering
theyre black.
Yes. Black.
Take off your hoods and let that sink in.
We all know the reason black politicians lose when theyre Democrats: abject racism.
o confirms Bernie Sanders, who said as much to The Daily Beast in an article Thursday:
I think you know there are a lot of white folks out there who are not necessarily racist who felt uncomfortable for the first time in their lives about whether or not they wanted to vote for an African-American. I think next time around, by the way, it will be a lot easier for them to do that.
Say WHAT????
White voters are uncomfortable with a candidate being black?
He [thinks] you know.
We all know right?
You know how, when youre standing in that booth, and you know you agree with all the politicians positions, and youre completely onboard with them leading the way, but then you think, Oh holy cow, wait theyre BLACK.
You know how you do that?
Bernie Sanders knows.
The Beast article is titled Bernie Sanders on Andrew Gillum and Stacey Abrams: Many Whites Made Uncomfortable Voting for Black Candidates.
I have a better title: A Really Stupid Idea.
Somehow, Irish white guy Robert Beto ORourke got mentioned in the piece about racism against relegated candidates. I guess all you have to do is change your name to make it into the discussion?
You look at Beto ORourke. Running in, you know, what is generally considered to be a red state. Enormous excitement. Enormous citizen participation, young people participation. Broke the bank in terms of small contributions that he got. Came within a hair of winning in Texas.
More on racism from Bern:
I think [Gillum is] a fantastic politician in the best sense of the word. He stuck to his guns in terms of a progressive agenda. I think he ran a great campaign. And he had to take on some of the most blatant and ugly racism that we have seen in many, many years. And yet he came within a whisker of winning.
Why the racism talk? Why????
As pointed out by The Daily Wires Emily Zanotti, Obama took Florida in in both 2008 and 2012. Did Baracks legacy turn the voters back to just lovin whitey?
The Left is absolutely obsessed with race (here, here, and here). And the tired preoccupation has now become the too-worn excuse at every turn. How does Bernie explain when a white person loses? What about Hillary? Oh yeah shes a woman. #2 obsession/excuse.
At some point, Democratic voters are going to get tired of the lame excuses for bad candidates with lackluster positions.
Until then, buckle up; theres a sign in the distance: Goofiness Ahead.
You rejected some of the BEST candidates(who coincilly happen to be Liberals/Progressives) because they are BLACKS.
Stop your White Supremacy or Antfa will be outside of your house banging on the door.
“Bernie Sanders Crystallizes Democratic Defeat: White Voters Are Uncomfortable Voting For Blacks
Especially the white Democrats in Michigan.
yet this hypocrite lives in a white secluded neighborhood and NOT in or near tha hood’
I’m uncomfortable voting for anyone in Florida or Georgia.... would be against the law for me.
I expect we’ll be seeing more from John James. Shame he lost to that harridan, but it’s always going to be tough for a newcomer.
What an ass wipe. If “Diamond and Silk” were running for office I’d vote for them in a heartbeat.
Bernie neglected to add that he is one of them.
A harsh reality is blacks did not vote for Sanders.
He was destroyed in states with large black populations and won white states.
He would have won the nomination if not for the near unanimity of the black vote for Clinton.
Real Blacks don't go on Hannity’s radio show, they vote straight ticket Democrat.
Same with real women.
They’re socialists, I don’t care what color they are, I am not voting for socialists.
I was a Herman Cain guy back in 2012. Would have gladly voted for John James this year
White Voters Are Uncomfortable Voting For Blacks,>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I wonder why? The magic negro led the country from behind for 8 years, regulated and taxed business out of existence, defunded the military, and refused to cut deals with Congress, choosing to govern by executive fiat like a king.
Why wouldn’t voters be nervous, they elected Obama twice and he screwed the entire nation with his Alinsky tactics and lies!
must just be in the demacrat party that white voters are uncomfortable voting for black candidates...I have no problem with a Herman Cain or Allen keys, ben Carson. to name some of the more famous black republican. it must be a bad taste in there mouth from the last black president. of course any libral black or white I would not vote for either they just taste bad sort of like eating shit.
I was thrilled to vote for Alan Keyes in the presidential primary. I thought he was black, but I must be wrong.
He is 100% spot on in my case...unless the black candidate is a Republican. Then I will happily, joyfully vote for him.
Those anti-Republicans can’t, and never will, get away from their racism claims. It gets old.
The character of the leftist blacks is downright belligerent and to live by MLK Jr’s “content of their character” makes it impossible to deal with them.
No, not true. Speaking for myself, Im not going to vote for someone who cant get beyond the color of their own skin. Who wakes every day of their lives, ready to play the race card. Who can not make leadership decisions unless it benefits their race, without consideration for the rest of the people.
This POS is trying to guilt trip whites into voting for blacks, just because
How about the Michigan race where the white woman won over the black man? Where were you Bernie supporting this upstanding black man? Oh wait, he was a republican, never mind
Hey, Bernie, I’m white, and I would vote for John James in a heartbeat. Just as one example.
