It's been painful to listen to many on team MAGA complain about Attorney General Jeff Sessions, accusing him of ineptness and promoting the narrative that he needs to resign. This idiocy has spread to knowledgeable right-leaning media personalities that clearly have no idea what's happening, and don't appreciate the size and scope of what Sessions has been undertaking.
The primary focus of Attorney General Sessions is to restore integrity and honor to the Department of Justice. He has been doing an excellent job running a tight ship and keeping details about ongoing investigations confidential. AG Sessions is doing everything to the letter of the law.
After Jeff Sessions was confirmed, the line of whistle-blowers outside his office must have been as long as a Bernie Sanders-style USSR breadline. Sessions' entire time as head of the DOJ has been one giant sting operation. The Clintons and Obama officials have been exposed. Long term FBI employees have been demoted and fired, while others provide witness testimony. Being a member of the deep-state isn't as fun as it used to be.
AG Sessions, likely last summer and unbeknownst to everyone, appointed a special prosecutor from outside the swamp of DC, all the while Trump supporters, including congressional committees, yelled for him to do his damn job and appoint one. I suppose Sessions got tired of listening to them cry like uninformed children when he he disclosed the name of the prosecutor: US Attorney John Huber from Utah.
"I am confident that Mr. Huber's review will include a full, complete and objective evaluation of these matters in a manner that is consistent with the law and facts. I receive regular updates from Mr. Huber and upon the conclusion of his review, will receive his recommendations as to whether any matters not currently under investigation should be opened, whether any matters currently under investigation require further resources, or whether any matters merit the appointment of a special counsel."
Jeff Sessions disclosed he had the prosecutor a few weeks before he named Huber, yet nobody was able to discover his name. Nobody. A few weeks later, he decided to disclose the name. Mr. Huber is the LEAD prosecutor, which means there are more than one prosecutor working in-step with Mr. Horowitz. Nobody knew it. Think about that.
I have no doubt the uninformed will complain about something else in lieu of common sense, but that's expected. The Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, announced an investigation into the FISA abuse. I heard the uninformed complain that this is happening so late, but that's because, again, they're uninformed and aren't curious about what's happening with their country. Instead, they like to throw temper tantrums. Inspector Horowitz and his staff of 500 attorneys and prosecutors collected 1.2 million documents of evidence. This work does not need to be done again, as they have everything. The scope of his original investigation allowed for him to go down other rabbit holes as he found them. This announcement by Horowitz simply is a means to create a new specific report destined for the special prosecutor.
Sessions is Horowitz's boss. Sessions is FBI Director Christopher Wray's boss, who doubled his staff to comply with congressional document requests. Sessions is Rod Rosenstein's boss. Sessions is also the boss of the US District Attorneys. Currently, there are over 25,000 sealed indictments spread over the 94 federal districts across the United States. That is many times more than what is typical, as that number was racked up over the last 8 months. A lot of criminals are going down. This is all under Jeff Sessions. Sessions is also going after sanctuary cities, rolling up human traffickers, fighting illegal immigration, investigating leakers, and when he has some free time, he likes to take tours of GTMO.
The reason why many are upset with Jeff Sessions is because Hillary Clinton is still free. We're all brainwashed to think the Clintons aren't going to be brought to justice. I have that Pavlovian response as well. If you've followed them for the past few decades, you've seen them slither away countless times as others are arrested or put underground. They've been able to accomplish this under the umbrella of the Bushes, Clinton, and Obama, and recently under a Holder and Lynch DOJ.
Not under President Trump, and not under a DOJ with Jeff Sessions as the helm.
Investigations take time. It's frustrating when you see a criminal walk around in broad daylight, but these people have some of the best attorneys in the world. If there is any gray area for a mistrial, they will seize it. Therefore, investigators must make sure everything is done by the book with no chance for prosecutorial misconduct. Would you rather her be indicted now and go free from a mistrial, or wait a little longer and have a clean, slam-dunk prosecution?
In 2014, ex-California State Senator Leland Yee was indicted for a laundry list of crimes, including weapons trafficking. He was just sentenced this February, four years later. He received five years, which seems like a slap on the wrist, so clearly was singing like a little birdie. How many others were arrested? How many of those flipped? How many are connected to the Clintons? This was a large sting, but compared to the Clintons and their decades of crime, this was stealing a pack of gum.
Last month we learned there's an empaneled grand jury, likely for the handling of the Clinton email investigation. That means indictments are coming soon. Andrew McCabe kicked off a legal defense fund. Robert Mueller complied with Judge Sullivan's order to turn over exculpatory evidence in the Michael Flynn case. It's likely Flynn will be exonerated. The wheels of justice are turning and things are moving forward, and Hillary Clinton's day is coming, as is Obama's.
All of this is happening under the Attorney General. He has been orchestrating a masterful takedown of these criminals. All other crimes aside, remember they attempted to take down the American President and rig our election -- not just sweep a massive national security scandal under the rug. They will not go unpunished. The MSM will react by framing this as a political takedown, led by President Trump, which they're already doing after the President ordered an investigation into the spying by the Obama administration. Since Sessions did everything by the book, we will have a mountain of indisputable evidence to negate such accusations.
Don't listen to the parrots on the news channels. The more they talk, the more they prove how little they follow the actual news. They are reacting like brats because they aren't accostomed to not receiving leaks from the DOJ. When the hammer comes down, it will be glorious.
So is this a) a super duper double secret sting operation or b) The swamp doing things as usual. I go with b). The Clinton’s have been getting away with murder for years. I’m only going to believe in equal justice under the law after I see those two frog marched to jail.
Ya, right. Fairy Tales.
Sessions is recused from all of it. Read my tag line. Listen to what Trump's lawyer is telling you. Go back and read Sessions' confirmation transcript.
Sessions is recused for all matters connected to the election, that's all matters connected to Hillary, that's all of the Deep State matters.
Hey Triple E,
Long time, no talk.
You seem to be engaging in wishful thinking, but I also wonder if Sessions is as much of a weak sister as he seems. The Dems prevented his appointment as a Circuit Court after GWB nominated him. They threw all the usual “racist” crap at him. He was Borked.
I can’t see him bending over for the Left.
And yet...Hillary Clinton is still free.
Imagine that!
What a great job Sessions is doing. yeppur! Such a great job.
Nor has the whistleblower associated with uranium 1 scandal been interviewed according to Victoria Toensing. 9 months and not even a dang initial interview?
This is run out the clock so expertly played by the swamp critters. What me worry has yet to show up for work.
LOL!
Obama and Hillary and their minions haven’t been touched yet.
Try actually READING what is said there and how building the case and rolling them up is more important than a few perp walks.
I guess that is too much to ask of those who have the attention span of a flea and I believe in many cases are here to disrupt not to actually learn and understand. They seem to want a few arrests and then back to the regularly scheduled program of whining.
Triple E I understand you and agree totally with your conclusions, and I really am not here to get kudos or other props from posters here like many I see dog piling.
A real man stands alone and on his principles and devil be damned all those who speak against him, he never wavers in his principles and integrity. If I wanted to waste time I would track all of the Usual Suspects and bet that none of them will apologize when they are wrong
But I have better things to do, and kids will be kids and they will just pop up on another thread whining about something
Some things (and people) never change

Oh. He didn’t did he?

Jeff Sessions is either an unwitting dupe or hes incompetent.

Keep your idiot opinion to yourself.
Just kidding, you are entitled to your opinion. And you should render that courtesy to others here.
There aren't any investigations going on dealing with Hillary or the FBI/DOJ
I remember Ken Star coming up with just sex after all the Clinton’s should have been accountable for such as selling super computers to the Chinese. No wonder people are pessimistic about DC investigations. It is hard to watch Trump getting targeted by Mueller and Sessions could stop it.
I am perfectly fine with anyone being as feisty with me as I am with them.
I can take it.
I do have a problem with people openly supporting corrupt politicians such as Jeff Sessions, however.
It wont change many minds, though, as so many already have their minds made up about Sessions, in spite of his rep as the Silent Executioner.
And Trump is such a master at playing them and their emotions by playing to their made up minds.
Its been fun, kinda like knowing the truth about an ongoing practical joke that almost no one else gets, but almost everybody keeps falling for.
Were not worthy.
Some of the replies on this thread prove the author’s point about impatience.
They simply don’t understand the mess that Jeff Sessions inherited. Decades of Swamp-loving Presidents stuffing DOJ/FBI with every big-brother scumweasel your worst nightmares could envision has turned DOJ/FBI into the most corrupt agency in D.C..
Session has the worst job in Washington, maybe in history. The day he walked in the door, there wasnt ONE person he could trust. He had to start from scratch building a entirely new organization, with almost all new faces. Think Elliot Ness in the Untouchables having to pick an apple from the tree, instead of the rotten barrel.
Not only that, but there isnt ONE person who is happy with the job he is doing. Since day one, there has been a constant clamor from conservatives, (me included) to Lock Her Up and go after the numerous gov scums that have broken the law. (Lois Lerner, Eric Holder, etc., etc.) Everybody, including the President that hired him, is unhappy.
OK, lets say Sessions walked in day one, and ordered a new investigation or prosecution of Hillary. The first thing he wouldve needed to do is assign the job to someone in the dept that was certain to do everything to clear her name, and make the administration look bad to the point of impeachment. That means leaks to the media, and more importantly, suspects under investigation. It means shoddy interviews and gifts of immunity for telling the investigators their dogs name.
Speaking of immunity, just think of the time Sessions will have to spend revoking the immunity gifts given by the dept before he arrived.
Unfortunately, he probably hasnt even been able to start that yet. How long does it take to put together a team of people you know you can trust to do the job at hand? Just think of the number of new people he had to put through the vetting process, hire, and then re-evaluate after a few months on the job. I had to do it in a department of ten people, and it took me almost a year to run the weasels out without them having grounds for a lawsuit. I then had to invest time to properly train their replacements. Imagine how long that takes in an agency the size of DOJ/FBI!
Then there all the information systems and their administrators that need a complete revamp. It does no good to have a top-secret investigation with your reliable agents feeding all the data into a corrupt system maintained by traitors. Any decent database admin could write code that wiped out info on specific investigations by subject, agent, etc. Of course, they would have already leaked the info to the media, DNC, etc.
At some point (hopefully soon) we will see some fruit from all of Sessions work. Maybe the fact they have finally canned Strzok is an indicator the initial lead time is winding down, and the serious work has begun.
Never said he did.
I don’t really care for people supporting corrupt politicians.
