Pretty decisive Only 29% for Ward. Blame Arpaio I guess. Ward is now damaged for the 2020 McCain rerun. We can only hope that turnout was high.
Ward shot herself in the foot, again and again.
Yes, I don’t think she could have won a general election
J.D. Hayworth anyone? Who else is out there with fewer wrinkles than Brewer?
Yeah I don’t think Ward ran a good campaign. Probably the right outcome (R forced to run to the right).
Lets hope Ward gets appointed next week ...
What’d Arpaio poll?
Even in Yavapai County, the most conservative county in AZ, McSally won decisively.
ARPAIO, JOE 7,862 25.12%
MCSALLY, MARTHA 14,201 45.38%
WARD, KELLI 9,054 28.93%
Write-In 176 0.56%
Arpaio and Ward combined had a slight percent over Juan McSally.
I would stay home. That anti trumper can go to hell.
McCain fought harder against Hayworth than he ever did against Obama. Hayworth has probably had enough.

Arpaio looks like he was a spoiler.
Ward kinda reminds me of Katherine Harris in Florida. House seat created for her and she wanted a Senate seat. W was no help after she called the election for him thereby becoming toxic.
Joe fouled this one up. McSally was 45% in this county, but the other two total more than 55%
Who was advising him, controlling him against the other conservative?
YEP! Not enough support in this election for Kelli Ward to get the appointment.
Just dam.
Oh well, money talks.
JD Hayworth..I hope.
traitor. DJT himself would tell you to get your ass out there and vote for mcsally.
you’re hurting the president.
Arizona GOP primary voters had no choice, Ward and Arpaio were unelectable in a general election. Plus Ward’s campaign threw the primary race away with all its unforced blunders.
She is a joke rino again. I assure you!!
Hindsight is 20-20. Hayworth is a positive, upbeat fella. He deserves to be ‘given’ the seat. Anyone else would feel entitled. Hayworth took on McCain in 10’.
Shocked that many Republicans in AZ think voting for Arpaio is good idea. He was fine as Sheriff, but not a quality candidate for Senate. Also, at 86, too old start a second political career.
