As I already predicted in my previous article, Andrés Manuel López Obrador just won Mexico’s presidential election in a landslide on Sunday. This is the same guy who has said during a speech last week that a mass exodus from South/Central America to the United States would be a nice thing, and that he as president would stand behind such a “no borders, no countries” move. And the Mexican people believed that would be a great idea, hence they voted a commie Anti Trump/Anti American el-presidente into office, to redistribute wealth and all that socialist crap.
According to mainstream news agencies, Obrador would make for Mexico’s first commie (they use the politically correct term leftist) president in decades. Okay, but why is this important for us, the gringos living in El Norte, you may ask. Well, to begin with, do you remember Venezuela and mainstream media darling Hugo Chavez? The American Pravda mainstream media never met a commie they did not like, starting with Uncle Joe Stalin. The take-away lesson here is that Mexican voters are just as stupid as Venezuelan voters.
The standards for voting are set way too low. Universal suffrage is a stupid idea; that is, universal voting for both women AND men.
It will take collapse of many countries before the idea of universal suffrage is discarded.
Historically Mexico has never been that great of an ally to the US. More reason to build the wall.
And a ton of Chicom front companies doing manufacturing etc in Mexico...they will not be happy campers.

A wall without men to guard it is nothing at all.
We have plenty of military forces. They are deployed in all the wrong places for lots of wrong reasons. Some adjustments are necessary.

I was thinking of men w/o the wall. Some have suggested that because they think the wall is “racist”. That’s dumb. That would require a lot of personnel. The wall makes the difference. Fewer personnel can guard more territory with the wall. Emperor Qin figured that out over 2200 years ago. I think we can do as well today. So I agree we will need personnel to man the wall, but probably less than we’d need without it (if it would be possible at all).
You can bet the cartels totally support him. Otherwise he would not have survived the election- literally.
He will try to unload his problems on us. Mexico hasn’t even tried to get rid of the corrupt politicians and police. It doesn’t even know that it has failed to provide infrastructure and a climate that favors job creation. With a socialist in charge, it is not likely to even try to get out of the way and let individuals and businesses create jobs.
