Guatemalan President, Jimmy Morales took to social media today to share his views on the immigration policy of U.S. President, Donald Trumps administration.
Morales stated when a policy, however necessary it pretends to appear, ends with the separation of the family and the pain of so many human beings, especially children, it should not only be revised, it should be corrected as soon as possible.
The nobility and greatness of a nation are at stake, he added.
The policy has sparked international concern because its enforcement causes the separation of entire families at the United States border.
The United Nations today urged Washington to cease from the controversial practice of separating asylum-seeking Central American immigrant children from their parents at the southern border.
The UN said that it is deeply concerned over the zero tolerance policy introduced by President Donald Trumps administration to deter illegal immigration.
The United States also announced today its withdrawal from the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Perhaps if this guy spent his time working to make his sh!thole country habitable instead of sharing his unsolicited opinions on Facebook, so many of his people would not want to leave.
Stop sending your trash to America and maybe we will. Time for you morons to start your own “war on your own poverty” instead of sending it to us, ***hole! Geez, the gall of this bozo.
Wow this is like an abusive parent having their kids taken away and complaining about the foster parents
Yard Men Unite!
If Guatemala, Honduras, etc. were not such basketcase countries their citizens would not be fleeing from them and trying to break into the USA.
President Morales should be ashamed that half of his countryman want to flee their home.
We have no obligation to take every person on earth unhappy with their own country.
You’ll never get a show on CNN with that attitude.
El Presidente de un Holo de Caca
The gall!
Do these rubes not see how degrading it is to beg the USA to take in their citizens? Do they not see how poorly this reflects on them as a nation? Do they not have any pride? No dignity? What f-—ing losers.
F You! Fix your own f’ing country!
Guatemala is a failed nation. He is not even embarrassed that his citizens want to leave his failed nation.
I’ve reconsidered policy, we deport all of them to guatamala now.
I agree. These fake families, children (teens) included, should be sent back to their country of origin. In fact if they are from Mexico they should be flown to the southern most part of Mexico and dropped off.
Congress needs to okay the funds for the wall and doubling of the Border Patrol. The goal of course is to seal and secure our southern border ASAP.
Unless congress moves on this fast; nothing will change. Oh; and get rid of chain migration, the visa lottery, the anchor baby loophole meant for black and white slaves back in the day, and make legal immigration merit based.
These are all “common sense” reforms (as the left is so fond of saying).
No, we will not demand that Guatemala ease its border enforcement laws, nor should we. We expect other nations to defend their borders.
Something I found out today that the main stream media isn’t telling anyone about.
This was from the Secretary of Homeland Security’s press briefing.
There are 12,000 minors in custody that arrived at the border and crossed without papers.
10,000 of them came WITHOUT their parents.
That’s right, without Mom or Dad. No Papi. No Mami.
In fact ,most were put on a train or a car by their parents to go to the US. Thru the Mexican cartel wars.
All for the purpose of getting in, and later demanding Mami and Papi join them.
Those words justify a military invasion of that country. He's admits to knowingly sending his citizens to illegally encroach a sovereign border. That is in fact, an act of war.
All of these Central American countries rely on illegals to prop up their country because they know the American dollars they earn under the table come right back to their country.
