Brittney Coelho arrived at her Harker, Tex. high school one morning, dressed in an outfit deemed appropriate by her schools dress code. But during the day, an assistant principal pulled her aside to point out an issue with her wardrobe the fact that Coelho wasnt wearing a bra.
It is not a requirement in the dress code at my school for me to wear a bra, the student tweeted. Stop blaming girlss outfits for boys not being raised right to respect women.
She then posted a photo of herself in the shirt she wore to school, without a bra, alongside a screen shot of Harker Heights High Schools dress code. The high-necked top seemed to cover up everything that the guidelines restricted, leading the student to conclude that the bra request was rather sexist.
The 17-year-old recalled the conversation with the administrator, a female assistant principal, for Yahoo Lifestyle, saying that she had asked Coelho if she was wearing a bra under her shirt, to which she responded no. The conversation took an even more uncomfortable turn when the administrator began to allegedly explain why that wasnt appropriate from pointing out that it would become more noticeable to others if Coelho was cold to telling her that she should cover up so guys dont stare.
The administrator did not immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyles request for comment....

The administrator is right.
Yes, young men should be taught to be respectful, but, to a young man, looking at breasts has same effect on the brain as cocaine does. He’s biologically geared towards doing that and will do that if he’s letting his mind wander.
Meaningless gobbledegook.
Was it written by a 5 year old?
Wait a minute.
She wants to be respected, but she walks around without a bra?
If you want to mix male and female teenagers in a closed environment, certain rules must be followed. Myself, I think it is foolish for boys and girls to be going to the same schools. The classroom is to learn certain subjects, not to “socialize” people, which is the #1 answer given if you bring this up. On the other hand, there may not even be a #2 most likely answer.
Is a chick does this, I WILL stare at her t*ts.
I won’t even pretend not to.
No kidding. Stupid young people. The problem is that when the adults take charge, the youth put them soundly in place. I guess it’s an extension of the whole child-centered crap. They know better than the adults.
The girl knows damn well she should not go to school without wearing a bra.
I know I am a breast guy. If you are going to show them to me, I’m gonna look. I will try to be as discreet as possible but I’m gonna look. I have no control over it. But this thread is no good at all without pictures :D
Thanks for the tendentious editorial language in what is supposedly a news item, Yahoo.
I guess the expectation of common courtesy in not distracting others is now "sexist."
Have you noticed that wearing a bra
doesn’t actually make breasts invisible?

From the pic at the site, I don’t even see anything worth staring at.
Some adolescents between the ages of 13-25 are simply not educable in a traditional classroom setting. Their hormones are raging and they are definitely not scholarly. It would be wise to reconstruct educational structures and policies to reflect this biological reality.
Anyone remember the bra-less era of the mid 1970s? (Or as some of us who were in high school at the time, “The golden age”) :o))
Truth in these comments here. The snowflake is upset with the way things are (boys like boobs) and wants it to be different (no bra, no problem). Unfortunately, we’re dealing with biology now, so suck it up, buttercup. I understand how hard it must be for liberals to understand biology, like when you tell them there are only two genders. Why do her parents let her go to school without a bra?
Hey, if you’ve seen one breast..........you’re probably gonna see the other one!
