Trump Supporters to Kanye: Welcome to the Party, Pal.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

If this surprises you, you haven’t been paying attention. – The New York Post is reporting that female staffers felt pressured, even forced to sign that letter of support for #MeToo target Tom Brokaw that NBC rolled out last week. According to one:

“We felt forced to sign the letter supporting Brokaw. We had no choice, particularly the lower level staffers. The letter was being handed around the office and the unspoken threat was that if your name was not on it, there would be some repercussion down the road. Execs are watching to see who signed and who didn’t. This was all about coming out in force to protect NBC’s golden boy; the network’s reputation is tied to Brokaw . . . If more women come forward, that’s a big problem.”

Why yes, yet it is a big problem, and rumors abound that more women are going to come forward soon to accuse Brokaw of sexual harassment. And by the way, coercing female employees to sign a letter of support for a man accused of sexual harassment is itself a textbook case of sexual harassment. NBC, it seems, just can’t help itself.

Tired of all this Winning yet? Part I – Kanye West is finding out who his real friends are right now, and finding that he doesn’t have nearly as many as he probably thought he did. Millions who have supported Donald Trump since 2016 are looking on and thinking, “Welcome to the party, pal.”

A new Reuters poll shows that, after just one week of a single African American celebrity breaking free of the Democrat/leftist/political correctness plantation, approval of President Donald Trump among black males had doubled, from 11 percent to 22 percent. That may not seem like a particularly big number, but every Democrat politician knows that if 22 percent of black males suddenly started voting for Republicans, the Democrat Party could not survive as a viable entity anywhere outside of California and a few states in the northeast.

So, if you’ve been wondering why West has been so viciously attacked by all of his leftwing colleagues and lectured by black politicians like Mad Maxine Waters – who condescendingly scolded the artist for “speaking out of turn” and needing help in properly forming his thoughts – wonder no more. The Democrat Party has had a 90+ percent, virtual monopoly on the black vote for over half a century now, and in that period of time, the black family has essentially disintegrated, black poverty levels have gone up, not down, and black unemployment skyrocketed, all as a direct result of Democrat policies.

Today, after just 16 months of the Trump Administration, black unemployment sits at its lowest level since the statistic began to be kept half a century ago. West sees this reality, and is speaking out about it, and the Democrat response is highly predictable. Democrats have always responded aggressively and viciously whenever they see one of their cherished voter blocs being threatened.

Now comes news that Christina Aguilera is collaborating with West on a new recording, so she’d probably do well to wear her own flack jacket for the foreseeable future, because the leftist bomb-throwers will be targeting her next. So long as Kanye is making pro-Trump noises, anyone who chooses to do business with or otherwise associate with him will become a target for leftist Democrat character assassination. That’s just how these people work.

Tired of all this Winning yet? Part II. – Reports began circulating Wednesday afternoon that the Crazy Little Fat Guy in North Korea has, in advance of his meeting with President Trump in the coming weeks, agreed to release three American “detainees”, i.e., prisoners. If true – and it appears to be – this is a breathtaking surrender of negotiating leverage, and should serve to diminish any remaining concerns about North Korea’s real intentions in its stated desire for the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

The deal President Trump wants to see here is the supervised dismantling and removal of North Korea’s nuclear testing and intercontinental missile testing facilities in exchange for lifting of many U.S. and U.N. sanctions and a joint stand-down of the military standoff that has existed at the border between North and South Korea for 64 long and painful years. The presence of these prisoners is one of the few remaining points of leverage that Kim Jong Un had available to him. Releasing them is a clear signal that the decks are being cleared in advance so that the meeting between Trump and Kim can become more of a signing ceremony than a step in a long negotiating process.

Naturally, not one of the major networks found this stunning concession on the part of Kim worthy of mention on their nightly newscasts. What we are seeing taking place on the Korean peninsula over the last few months has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s a damn shame that our national fake news media is so consumed with hatred of Donald Trump that it is simply not capable of appreciating it or properly reporting on it.

Just another day in welcome to the party, pal America.

That is all.

I love it that lines from the original “Die Hard” movie have become part of our discourse.

The headline’s use of “Welcome to the party, Pal...” is “the stuff that dreams are made of”.

“Come out to the coast, we’ll drink a few beers, have a good time...”

“Guess we’re gonna need some more FBI guys...”

“I’m a very UN-common thief, Mr. Takagi, and you’d do well to remember that.”

NBC,CBS, MSNBC and PBS - big time liberal thugs.... rapists and abusers... Yeah, maybe you cheap liberal 'elite' bastards should pay for your sex rather than bullying powerless women in your offices.

Meanwhile over in Iran, the centrifuges are still spinning and mullahs are still proclaiming Death to America from their stages perched atop pallets of cash, courtesy of Obama's State Department.

I've never seen such a stark contrast in foreign policy outcomes - is anyone noticing? MSM doesn't.
