GORDON HUMPHREY: The nation needs to be rid of this vile president. His vileness is so great as to personify evil. We need to be rid of this man, and Congress has the power to do this under the Constitution... by invoking the 25th Amendment... Which would transfer his powers to the vice president. There isn't a moment to lose. Members of Congress need to stand up, and show some courage and some principle, and put the country, and its future, and our hopes, in front of their selfish personal political ambitions.

Gordon Humphrey is a no-Trumper. He was always considered a difficult guy to get along with in the US Senate. In 12 years he voted against the budget 12 times (1979 to 1990).

Humprey is well alive.

Kerry almost considered Humpfrey to be his VP.

A Kerry/Humprey ticket would have lost to Bush/Cheney anyway.

I was so impressed by his Hillary Clinton endorsement on election day that this pronouncement now is making a tingle run up my leg.

In 1987, Humphrey harshly criticized President Ronald Reagan’s appointment of openly gay geneticist Dr. Frank Lilly to his commission on the HIV Epidemic, saying that Lilly’s appointment would send the message “. . .that homosexuality is simply an alternative lifestyle.” - Wikipedia

Wiki:”During the 2016 Republican presidential primaries, Humphrey was a leader of efforts to try to block Trump from securing the nomination at the Republican National Convention. He stated, “I would only vote for Hillary in the event of a very close contest. Meantime, I’m hoping the Republican leadership, at long, long last will show the courage and principle to denounce Trump and to demand he renounce the nomination or face a reconvening of the convention.” On 6 November 2016, two days before the election, Humphrey officially endorsed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. In November 2016, he left the Republican Party and became an independent.”

“He voted against the federal budget all 12 years he was a member of the Senate, each time because the proposed budget ran a deficit.”

Looks like Humphrey is a social conservative still trying to stand his ground. I don’t blame him for it. President Trump has been a big disappointment in the gay area.

AS for the first part of your question:

Gordon John Humphrey (born October 9, 1940) is an American politician from New Hampshire who served two terms in the U.S. Senate as a Republican from 1979 to 1990, and twice ran for Governor of New Hampshire, though both bids were unsuccessful.

As for the second part of your question:

You shouldn't . 8>)

Gordon Humphrey personifies evil himself. He is projecting his own failure to connect the dots.

If he does not come to his senses he will perish in his own spittle and excrement, as all driven by blind hate do.
