I’m just an old fart and have gone through a lot of disappointments. But I told myself if this guy is for real, then we may still have a chance, so I voted for President Trump. Now to me he seems just like all the rest! 1.3T “budget” my rosy red butt!

He is just all the rest. Says his diapproves of the bill but signs it anyway. This was his “read my lips” moment. Trump will be gone after 2020 (unless a Democrat congress impeaches first in 2019.
Read the comments here on FR. Go on his Facebook and Twitter pages. At least half his base is abandoning him and rightfully so. This wasn’t just a mistake, he sown the seeds of his defeat in 2020 by a huge landslide. Those who voted for him in 2020 will stay home. All he has left are the true believer kool aid drinkers.
Although I vited for Trump just to stop Hillary, I suspected all along he was phony and NY Liberal.
My Republican Congressman voted for the Omnibus bill. Explain to me why I should bother to got to the polls and vote for this lying piece of s*** over the 'Rat? Why I should send my money in support of a Republican Party run by McConnell and Ryan?
Because i'm not going to either of those two things. I have principles. If the rest of the "conservatives" out there choose to "vote for the lesser of two evils" and s***-can their principles in doing is not my problem.

There’s still this thing in D.C. called POLITICS. He put the military first, this was his goal...the swamp made him pay. We may not like it. PDJT doesn’t like it. That’s how it works. Everyone needs to get over it.

We all would have preferred a veto. The consolation I can take from it is this... He did plainly state his first duty was defense of the country. That is exactly correct. He said we absolute had to have to military money no matter what. If we have been able to say that he has been shooting straight with us up until now maybe we really really did have to have this. Have all of you been following geopolitical news the last few months? It’s a reasonable conclusion that it might be that urgent.
You think the Washington politicians wouldn’t use critical defense spending as a weapon to break Trump’s negotiation? Of course they would.
So yeah. I’m disappointed. But let’s see where this goes before assuuming Trump has suddenly become part of the swamp.

I remember when Reagan fell for the Simpson-Mazzoli fraud, whose ramifications are still being felt. I did not search for stupid rationalizations to protect my most admired MAN, RWR. I was furious then, and my opinion of this fiasco has been borne out many times over.
In this debacle, Trump proved that he is supremely disloyal to his friends, and is all-too-ready to surrender to the enemy. His trust factor is shot to hell with me.
Yeah like THAT is going to happen. 50,000 troops along the border is a delusion.
