Shorewood Hills Police Chief Aaron Chapin said Jonathan M. Fitzgerald, 35, activated a front door buzzer at the school, 1105 Shorewood Blvd., around 10 a.m., requesting access to the building. When he was allowed in, he walked past the school office where visitors are required to check in, Chapin said. The article at madison.com says the police understand that there was no threat to the school or public safety. The police arrested Fitzgerald on the "tentative charge of disorderly conduct".
A staff member followed Fitzgerald as he went down the hall to the classroom his child was in, Chapin said.
Fitzgerald made statements to the teacher in the room about being an intruder who was allowed access to the school and gave the teacher a piece of cardboard with the word gun on it, Chapin said.
Chapin said Fitzgerald left the classroom and went to the administrative office where he made similar statements and handed staff another piece of cardboard with gun written on it, then left the school building.
Get "tenatatively" arrested for disorderly conduct.
In Madison, Wisconsin (Shorewood Hills Elementary)
You can’t point out security problems. That’s dangerous.
This school system is going to get hammered for this.
It is technically trespass. Visitors were required to sign in. However, they should be smart enough to agree that he was making a valid point, and act to improve their security, not hassle this father. If not, take it to trial and let a jury decide if he should be convicted. I’d acquit.

Acting like an asshole is a crime?
These “people” are CRAZY. So, from now on I am referring to semi-auto firearms, like a typical rifle before OR after a Bumpfire stock is installed, as a single-shot rifle, since one single trigger pull = one single shot. FULL autos would be multi-shot. Beatem at their word games!
Are they sure it said “gun”? Could it be it actually says “gub”?
Seems like Mr. Fitzgerald did it to “send a message” and was “tentatively” arrested not for disorderly conduct but for shaming and embarrassing the school district and PD.
This is my rifle, this is my gun:

I think they’d have been even more pissed if he appropriately handed out cqrds tovthem with the word “Teach” on it.
The charge of “disorderly conduct” is what they use when there is no crime committed, but they want to harass the person anyway. “disorderly conduct” is so vague and all-inclusive as to render any law it is in invalid.
The school authorities no longer have any right to be in charge of a school.
We elected Trump because we are disgusted with what’s happening. It’s way out of control, and Trump cannot change it.
You cant use the lefts shaming tactics on them without them calling the cops.

That’s my take on it as well.
I think any school that is not locked down with tight security should be shut down until they figure it out.
Try walking into a bank and handing the teller a not that just says “GUN”. Chances of getting arrested, 100%.
At least it didn’t say “bomb”.
The guy should have stated “well, I was gonna write GUNS N ROSES’ but i was confused if it’s ‘and’ or N’ Roses...”
If it said “bomb”, those leftard clowns would have thrown a party for the perp.
With all his degrees it’s proven that he’s very smart.
His actions in this case show that he’s also very unwise.
There’s a price to pay for acting stupid Lee and he’s paying.
