The Independent has just reported that South Africa‘s parliament just voted to seize privately owned land from farmers.
In the past, government seizure of privately owned farmland has always resulted in huge reductions in food production, whether it be in the Soviet Union, China, Zimbabwe, or, most recently, in Venezuela, where the recent government seizure of farmland was followed by most adults losing an average of 43 pounds in two years.
Why do the member’s of South Africa‘s parliament think the results will be any different this time?
Communism never wins. No many how many times it’s tried.
South Africa is the new Venezuela.
This is why we have to keep the Commies/Dems out of power.

Good thing they have gold Krugerrands. They’re going to need them once the paper currency becomes worthless.

The parliament doesn't think the results will be any different. The leadership/parliament will get rich by looting the people, the people will starve. The leadership will milk it till there's a revolution, which may not be for decades, and escape with the loot if ever necessary.
People get the government they deserve.
The Rand is already in pretty bad shape, after what the damned ANC has done to that one first world nation.
The farmers should burn it to the ground as they leave. Then salt the earth.
Even many blacks, after a year of "Saint Nelson", wanted Apartheid and white rule back.
The years of rand-dollar parity, back in the early 80’s, are but a distant memory.
They don't need to go to the trouble. A year or two of stone-age collectivism will have pretty much the same effect.

First of all, they can't "just leave" and it's ALL "white property", not just FARMS!
Secondly, they don't have to "salt the earth", the blacks, to whom the land will be given, don't know anything about farming, so nothing will grow anyway, for them.
If someone descended from our very first settlers here was faced with the same problem ( their property confiscated and given to an ILLEGAL ALIEN MS-13 member or Sasha Obama ), not allowed to take much of their money with them, NOT allowed a VISA, just WHERE do you imagine that they could go? That's what the Boers face...only far worse.
