Lefties, particularly the ‘champagne socialists’, are the worst hypocrites on the planet. The Hellywood ‘elites’, the MSM ‘journolists’, the Silicon Valley ‘titans’, the political ‘czars’, etc., ALL are hypocrites. Our current PM, Dustbin Turd-owe, is a prime example. In the world of the ‘champagne socialist’, they suffer no privations but the plebes must carry their water.

The leadership seems determined to make CA only affordable or desirable for the rich. For sooner or later, even the homeless & illegals wont want to live there. It is, after all, mostly desert.
Ultimately, welfare services will collapse, as will education & law enforcement. With no welfare, no jobs, no schools worth attending, & crumbling infrastructure, only those with substantial financial means will be able to afford to live comfortably there.

Over the years California has been extraordinarily lucky to have access to sources of great wealth - its tourism, the entertainment industry (especially the movies), and lately Silicon Valley - they have been able to indulge their socialist fantasies for a long time by sucking the assets out of these resources and spending down their wealth to pay for all the poor incapables and indolent they want to save, but that wealth is about gone - the west-coast movie/entertainment industry is about over, technological innovation is now worldwide, and California tourism will be shot once conditions such as VDH describes become more widely known - the worst is yet to come for the Golden State, and it is coming soon.....

Ummm...they intend to take over and kick the “Americans” out of what they consider to be truly Mexican territory. The problem for Americans is that the true America is shrinking rapidly, and enemies like these Mexicans want us dead and gone. In a couple of generations, or less, Americans will be fighting a war for existence against a far more populous set of opponents...none of whom suffer from the American’s terminal case of political correctness and racial “guilt.”

Funny you say that. My Uncle left California years ago and moved to Littleton, CO. He’s retired now and lives in Elbert, CO. But he always says he moved to Colorado to escape the liberal loonies in California....or to have them follow him to Colorado.
Littleton and elbert County are both enclaves still rather untouched, but how much longer that will last with the Leftards running Colorado is debatable...
The mayor of Denver wants safe places for heroin addicts to shoot up, tended by medical personnel...Just for an idea how far it’s fallen...

California is well on its way to collapse, and ultimately revolution we’re it a country.
If it is at all possible to separate from the state conservatives must do so with all due haste. Independence is the only way they are going to be able to survive.
The state is presently quite precariously dependent upon a very small minority of the population who are heavily overtaxed. Should any sizable share of them leave it will predicate enormous Financial challenges for the rest of the state already on the edge financially speaking.
It basically comes down to money and political convenience. Their own country is a s******* and it’s their own fault.
But ideologically it is more beneficial to them both at home and ironically among the empowered left here to pretend we are the enemy even as we provide them with a job that their country could not.
I think they’re just appathetic and incompetent. Their ideological blindness has them catering to the rich white liberal who are isolated from the vast majority of the population while relying upon the poor Hispanic liberal for their real political support.
Problem is he Hispanic and illegal aliens are living in squalor that is only getting worse.
As the state’s Financial and political situation becomes ever more dire. Right now the serves the interests of the Democratic Party who is successfully able to blame their problems on the Republican Party even though the Republican party has zero power and influence in California.
But at some point this will not be a viable tactic either the economic situation will become much worse perhaps by some of the few people paying for everything leaving California, or their political Boogeyman the Republican Party will become more obviously irrelevant.
By the way the combination of the politics of greed and the enormous disparity between the two parts of California Democrats will lead to a race war which will tear the state apart.
The war would actually last long the overwhelming numerical superiority of the poor Hispanic population will simply drive away the rich white population. But that will more or less leave California as a third world country.
