If Rep. Trey Gowdy, R- S.C., really believes the House Intelligence Committees FISA memo does not vindicate President Trump, then he must also believe it does not answer the question of when Donald Trump stopped beating Melania. Gowdy made that claim, among others, in a series of tweets on Friday and in a Face the Nation interview on Sunday:
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said the release of the controversial FISA memo by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee does not discredit Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.Ah, but it does. President Trump was mocked when he said Trump Tower was wiretapped and he and his team were being spied on by their own government. Now we know, confirmed by the FISA memo, that it not only happened, but also that it happened at the behest of the opposition DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign colluding with a corrupt DOJ and FBI that used FISA warrant requests based on a Russian-linked dossier they paid for.In a series of tweets on Friday, Gowdy said the memo, which alleges government surveillance abuse targeting at least one member of the Trump campaign, raises concerns about the FISA process and is of interest to the American people.
Despite that, Gowdy said he remains confident in Mueller and the "overwhelming majority" of the men and women serving at the FBI and Justice Department .
In an interview on "Face the Nation" on Sunday, Gowdy said he understands that the president is "frustrated," but he reiterated he doesn't think the memo "has any impact on the Russia probe."
What does this FISA abuse have to do with the Russia collusion probe? Consider that the corruption of the FBI regarding the Hillary email probe, the Russia-Uranium One investigations, the FISA abuses occurred largely under FBI directors named Robert Mueller and James Comey. Comey had the fix in for Hillary Clinton and when Trump fired him for usurping the role of attorney general and publicly exonerating her, Comey, by criminally leaking memos on a private conversation in the Oval Office, Comey arranged for the appointment of a special counsel, his good friend Robert Mueller.
While having the fix in for Hillary to keep her out of prison, Comey was also part of the cabal trying to keep Trump out of the White House. His deputy was Andrew McCabe, forced out of his post as a result of the FISA memos description of his corrupt activities. Peter Strzok, a leader of the FBI resistance to Trump, as well as McCabe and his paramour Lisa Page, worked for Comey. Strzok, the lead investigator in the Hillary probe, went on to work for Mueller in the Russia collusion probe. A few dots for Trey Gowdy to connect.
Consider that Comey, in testimony given under oath in June 2017, said the Steele dossier was salacious and unverified. Yet Comey signed off on at least one, if not four, FISA warrant applications based on that salacious and unverified dossier. Either he was lying to Congress or he was lying to the FISA court judge, In any event, he was out to get Trump and the FISA abuse and his plot to set up Robert Mueller as a special counsel without a crime to investigate or any evidence of collusion were both parts of his conspiracy to get Trump.
Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., says that McCabe testified that if it werent for material from British spy Christopher Steeles fraudulent dossier, there would have been no FISA requests and no surveillance of Team Trump:

There’s something about Gowdy that just doesn’t sit right with me. He postures, preens and pontificates, but, when all is said and done, he’s like the elephant who labored all night and gave birth to a mouse.
What is just as bad as all the lying vicious Democraps is that there are so many soft-headed RINO CINO types like Gowdy, McCain, Linda, etc. who can’t see and can’t think. Or are they really simply leftists at heart?????
I am convinced that there is no way Mueller did not know about the FISA shenanigans going on when he took his gig. There are too many people with close ties to him who were perpetrating the whole thing. If he did know, that makes him a criminal. Mueller and his investigation need to be seriously investigated. What he knew and when he knew it are vital questions that need to be answered.
Trumps real crime is not being a Leftist. Evidence of wrong doing is something that needs to be manufactured to convict him, because for some unjust reason the law does not yet make not being a Leftist a crime. So obviously attempts to manifacture such evidence will occur, and exposing them undermines such noble efforts and certainly is no reason to stop the ongoing effort to abuse goverment power to destroy him.
Men in power can only be as good as the leader they follow.
EVIL LEADER = men in power who should have NEVER been given such power.

How do we know that Trump Tower was wiretapped from the memo?
I am a friendly audience but articles like this— that don’t spell it out — are frustrating.
Is it because once electronic eavesdropping of Carter started, we can infer that it included people in Trump Tower too?
Thank you for sharing that image with us!
CA....
“Theres something about Gowdy that just doesnt sit right with me.”
I have to agree. Something is not quite right with the boy.
To Mueller everyone is a walking ham sandwich. Gowdy is probably concerned about being indicted for some BS obstruction charge if he speaks the truth about the Mueller witch hunt. With Sessions in charge of controlling DOJ abuse anything is possible.
The FISA warrant for Carter Page was first in Oct. 2016, and had to be renewed every 90 days. Rosenstein was one of those who signed off on renewals, as was Comey, as was Yates as was a whole lot of people. In 90 day segments from that month, this would mean... Jan. 2017, March 2017 and.... MAY 2017 when Mueller was appointed by Rosenstein— one of the re-applied warrant signers.
This stinks, and Gowdy is threading needles to preserve his potential future relationship with fibbies if he wants to get a job as a federal prosecutor— imho. Selective vision.
Gowdy is disappointing.
Yes... look up the extent of the surveillance granted in a TITLE I FISA warrant that was issued first on the minor unpaid Trump consultant (in the “campaign”), Carter Page- in October 2016 and moving forward every 90 days with renewals signed off on by many of the bad actors— Yates, Rosenstein, etc. We don’t know if that warrant is not still in place.
Break in the target’s home, plant bugs, 24/7 wireless and other intrusive surveillance (active surveillance, laser mics on windows, etc and other proprietary means)— and in the process...ancillary people not targeted are uh... covered. Rogers let Trump know a few days after the election, and this was going on through the transition. And obamaumao KNEW IT and approved of it— and a whole lot of people knew about it— the National Security Council for one.
See Mark Levin’s scathing summary from Hannity show Friday night last. This is major criminal activity, by dirty senior cops for their political pals.
Maybe they got a cd containing some of the DOJ/FBI surveillance on them or their spouses/family members.
The headline and text do not agree with each other. Saying Gowdy said it did not vindicate Trump is not what he said at all. He said it does not take away from Muellers investigation. At least what his investigation was supposed to be about.
Rogers is a hero. At the end of the day he may be the John Dean of whole twisted affair. Next summer will be lot’s of fun when all the hearings are rolling in front of the entire world.
