FBI: Awans Security Clearances “Forged;” Granted Access to Congressional Intel Despite Falsified

Members of the FBI and Justice Department’s top brass at their Washington D.C.headquarters and other field offices are now using burner phones to stay under the radar of federal investigators and lawmakers, according to FBI insiders.

The shocking revelations come on the heels of news that the FBI deleted thousands of text messages between anti-Trump FBI agents before investigators could review their content.

While that is disturbing on one level, FBI and DOJ hierarchy employing the telecom habits of drug cartel bosses reaches a new low for the once-heralded federal law enforcement agency and the DOJ. And breaks federal laws as well.

Intel points to top FBI and DOJ officials communicating via:

Burner or disposable smart phones purchased with cash and charged with cash or money order Encrypted phone and web apps, including SIGNAL employed for anonymous texting Phones issued in the name of a spouse or family member, conceivably out of reach of federal subpoenas Use of such telecom devices as part of official government business violates a host of federal laws, insiders said.

But that hasn’t slowed their use by top law enforcement personnel in the United States.

There are no verifiable facts in this article. Might be true, might not be true. Who can tell?

Democrats are Democrats first.

Being an American is way down on their list.

Remember, these are your friends, neighbors and relatives, and they think WAY different than you do.

but the burn phone story is a good. The feds are behind the times.
We were tracking Bin Laden via cell phone until MSM let that cat out of the bag and it was the end of cell phone contact by Osama. The next leap should have been to burn phones.

And it’s easy enough to do. Dig up copies of their SF86s, along with paperwork completed when they were granted their clearances, and their non-disclosure agreements. Likewise, whoever handles clearances for Congressional staff (security manager or SSO) should be able to provide proof from their database.

Amazing that almost 18 months into this scandal, no one can verify the actual status of the Awan’s clearances. Personally, I believe they had access to classified (Secret-level), and may have used Congressional credentials to access information and databases at that level. We also know that members of the clan were recommended for TS/SCI clearances but (to date) no proof they were cleared at that level.

Much of this information gap is the result of stone-walling and cover-up by Congressional Democrats, aided by MSM types who have ignored the story. But some of the conservative reporters who have dug into the scandal haven’t been able to obtain needed information on the Awans’s clearances, or they don’t know where to find the right answers.

To be fair, they were probably already using those to keep their mistresses and wives from finding out about each other.

Add this:
The FBI informed congress over the weekend that what is ostensibly our nation’s top, numero uno, bestest of all the best law enforcement agencies has had a computer “glitch” and “lost” five months worth of texts between deep state FBI agent Peter Strzok and his illicit lover, deep state DOJ lawyer Lisa Page. That five month period began on December 14, 2016, the date that the fake news media began pushing the false narrative that Vladimir Putin personally ordered the hacking of the DNC computers in mid-2016.
to this:
Investigators in both House and Senate were stunned late Friday when, receiving a batch of newly-released texts between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, they also received notice from the bureau that the FBI "failed to preserve" Strzok-Page messages from December 14, 2016 through May 17, 2017... on May 17, 2017 — the final day of the missing texts — the appointment of Trump-Russia special prosecutor Robert Mueller.

Clearances can’t be forged - if the agencies with the data use the p[roper system to check the clearances. One doesn’t carry a document saying he has a clearance with x-access - it’s all kept in a classified system and is supposed to be checked by local Security manager prior to granting access.

Forged security clearances? That’s not even possible; a security clearance isn’t like a driver’s license; it’s a process. One cannot “forge” a security clearance, per se, but I suppose it is possible to forge the documents and processes required to obtain a security clearance, including: an SF-86 (National Security Questionnaire); initial interview of the candidate; interview of candidate’s friends, family and associates; in some cases, a polygraph report; and final granting/issuance of security clearance by an appropriate authority. Furthermore, any person issued a security clearance will have his or her clearance recorded in one (or all) of several different systems, all of which show name, SSN, the date the background check was completed, date of issuance and, in some cases, date the polygraph was completed and passed.

It takes about a year on average for someone with a very clean personal history to obtain a TS collateral clearance; for SCI access, even longer. If the Awans had “forged” security clearances, some security officer had to forge a lot of paperwork in a hurry and enter it into official systems for them to get access to classified information, which tells me there’s a helluva lot more going on than meets the eye. Furthermore, they worked for various Democrat members of Congress and committees for quite a while - and no one ever questioned their clearances?

Funny the link went to a different story; I must have missed the older story that the Awans’ security clearances were forged. Wow.

Correct. I think someone ought to take a gander at how many of Hitlery’s people did not have security clearances INCLUDING Bill and Hitlery.
