Appearing on Fox News last week, actor Scott Baio explained a very important fact about President Trumps rhetorical style. In responding to attacks on the presidents tone and and general fitness for office, Baio had this to say: Im going to help the media right now, okay, Im going to try to help them
Its not going to go anywhere, but Im going to try to help them because theyve called the president, the president has dementia, hes and idiot, hes not mature
Im from Brooklyn, President Trump is from Queens. This is what we do. We mess with people. Thats it.

I never heard anybody talk about Outer Slobovia except my Dad, who was raised in Hollis and went to Andrew Jackson High.
You can take us out of NYC ( no matter what borough ! ), but you can NEVER take NYC out of us! :-)
So is her accent.
Walter O’Malley was scum. I was never s fan of any NY National league team. I was and will always be a Yankees fan
Now I respected the Dodgers and their fans. They were a large group of dedicated fans. They loved their Bums. Walter O’Malley only cared about a few extra bucks and California sunshine. He destroyed those loving fans.
It was a crime what that man did.
BTW the Giants never had the fan base of the Dodgers or Yankees. It bothered a fairly small NY community when they left. Though I did miss Say-Hey Willie Mays when the Giants left. That man had style!
Not one single person in the MSM knows how to talk with Trump. NOT ONE!
Probably because most or many of them are not from NYC.
Many are snobs and snear down their noses at plainspoken, sometimes loud Nyers. We learned how to get along with people from just about everywhere in the world.
No apologies.
My Dad took me to my first Giants game in 1954, against the Cubs (in gray flannel), Whitey Lockman hit two home runs.
He got his first big job in 1957, and we had a date in September to go see the Pirates game, so I got to stay home from school. He was supposed to pick me up at 11:30, but the clock went past there, and past noon, and past 12:30. He got home at two and I have never seen him so upset, before or since.
“Don’t worry, Dad,” I said, “we can go next year”.
That’s when he told me there was no next year. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was sixty years ago.
Our last home, in NYC, was a cop-op in Gramercy Park, when when GP was still just the 4 blocks around the park;. as it always has been , until very recently.
We now live in Ct. ( Fairfield County ) and neither sound like, nor am in any way like old Thurston. :-)
I was the product of a mixed marriage. Dad: Giants, Mom: Dodgers.
Great movie explanation! :-)
You know, the Daily News ran a poll in the 1970s for the worst villain of the 20th century.
O’Malley finished second.
Until later.;-)
Im assuming Hitler won the thing.
Correct, but O’Malley beat Tojo and Stalin.
My Dad always said Stoneham was an alcoholic, and O’Malley must have gotten him drunk to get him to agree to go west.
I caught this guy’s (Fred Rabino - comedian) You Tube rant after the last NYC terror attack. IMHO, THIS is “Outer Bourough” talk!! Fred (Freddie) Rabino made me laugh so hard I subscribed to his channel.
No nonsense Brooklyn talk!!

That's why a guy like Trump needs to be in the Oval Office right now.
What he's accomplishing is too important in saving the republic to worry about his New York idiosyncrasies, personal proclivities and odd eating habits.
For once, we have a "real" man in the White House. He is the center of the universe in DC and the world. It's not just because he's the president of the US.
It's because he's Donald Trump.
There is no New York Borough. There are 5 Boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. They comprise New York City. Let’s not get into the names of the 5 counties! (New York/Kings/Queens/Bronx/Richmond).
There really are differences among the 5, their people, their personality traits and even accents. https://www.youtube.com/watch
Brash is not my style either. When Trump first came on the scene, I could not stand him, but what he had to say eventually won me over, and I am with him now all the way, even though he and I would not agree on many social issues.
I believe that he wants what is best for this country, and I am not being melodramatic when I say that his election to the presidency saved us from destruction.
That’s what normal men do, you mean.
We women work a bit differently, and that’s not often a positive.
Trump is OUR hatchet man. He’s the perfect man, for this impossible job, at this tipping point is our country’s history.
We don’t need another polished politician in the office again. We need someone who may be rough around the edges but who will get the job done.
I don’t know of anyone else out there who could do what he’s done and still be left standing for more.
