Accu Weather.....Northeast faces cold for the rest of the year. Global warming??
The global temperature has risen and fallen over the last 4.6 billion years.

The sun has entered into a cycle of minimal to scarce sunspots, lack of sun spots are a predictor of colder weather, which could lead to a new ice age

Used to live just down the street from Fort Williams on Shore Road where the lighthouse is at in Cape Elizebeth. My lady and I would walk to the lighthouse 2-3 times a week. Longfellow was best friends with the lighthouse keeper back in the day. Beautiful area

I grew up near Willard Square in So Portland. The fort and Two Lights were favorite places.

Nice lighthouse.. I love reading about lighthouses...one I like is the New London Ledge Light...out in Long Isand Sound. Anyone who visit it say hello to Ernie the Ghost.

Interesting story.
I love lighthouses. We've got a series of beautiful pictures of them on two walls in our library.

Yes. But ice ages don’t just “start.” We will be long dead by the time the global climate change folks figure out what’s happening.
