Alabamas recent hotly contested special U.S. Senate election was marred by considerable ballot confusion caused by the states straight party voting ballot which allowed voters two ways to vote for the two candidates.
How is that confusing? There are many ballots like that. They’re not going to throw out the election.
Are they going to check for hanging chads also???
Please...go...away!
Roy didn’t GOTV. End of the day there is no one or blame but cannon and Moore for failing to execute.
In the future, please post your blog in our bloggers forum.
Thanks.

One possibility that was posted I think not sure waiting to count the military ballots?
He’s not going to pick up 21,000 votes.
The ballot was not confusing. Give it up.
Well look at you, all freshly signed up and posting your own material.
It’s a Hail Mary pass for sure.
What is cannon?
Bannon. Typo
Evidently you could vote for both. Straight republican but then vote for
I doubt there are 20,000 of those. Can’t imagine what someone would mean by that, but I can see that it’s confusing
A hefty detective from the late 70's.
Forget the stupid ballot. Go after the voter fraud!
Good series.
I agree it is over but that ballot is nonsensical, really embarrassing for Alabama that they cannot even get an important special election done correctly. To vote straight Republican or Democrat means just that. To then, by fiat of some state official, ignore that clearly expressed preference because the voter then contradicts himself by marking the other partys candidate or writes in someone else is really arbitrary and absurd. Such votes are obviously invalid. Sounds as if we will never know how many there were. Sad performance. In a sane world, a court would require a new vote. But that will never happen.
We don't need the Democrats hanging Roy Moore around our necks during the Midterms!
Midterms we could get atmost 10 Senators so losing Moore is no big deal
