If I recall correctly, wasn’t it the NYPD who found emails when they seized the laptop in their process of going after Weiner? I may need to be corrected but wasn’t it the NYPD who turned it over to the FBI?

There may be a connection, but it is not clear to me what oversight role the SEC could play relative to the Clinton Foundation.
