Hours after the FBI found classified Hillary Clinton emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop, the wife of the FBI agent running the high-profile probe was promoted to a powerful position in the Securities and Exchange Commission, FBI sources said.
This case keeps getting worse for the FBI and embattled agent Peter Strzok, the lead investigator on the Clinton probe. His wife Melissa Hodgman was promoted to deputy director of SEC’s Enforcement Division literally hours after Strzok and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe were debriefed about the Clinton emails found on Weiner’s computer.
The FBI’s original warrant for Weiner’s laptop was issued in late September 2016 and a subsequent warrant was issued on Oct. 30, 2016 so that the FBI could use Huma Abedin’s & Hillary’s classified emails as evidence in the re-opened Clinton probe.

Wow! So is Peter is quite the guy. He is married to a powerhouse wife and sleeping with another woman, both in positions of having inside information.
Why would the Clinton cabal reward a spouse for Hillary emails on Weiner’s laptop? Were the emails adulterated to remove difficult or incriminating information? Seems I recall another instance of that if so.

There may be a connection, but it is not clear to me what oversight role the SEC could play relative to the Clinton Foundation.
Are there specific transactions involved that the SEC might be required to scrutinize?
I can't verify that but it does sound familiar.

The SEC would not typically lead an investigation into money laundering.
I remember it that way also. And I also remember that it was TruePundit who reported it was the NYPD. They also reported that the NYPD made a copy of the hard drive before handing the laptop over to the FBI....

I don’t know. I do think the timing of the promotion is odd, but there is still a great deal we don’t know.
Here is one alternative explanation: Strock’s wife knew what was going on and the promotion was a payoff for silence. But that would involve lots of folks outside of both the DOJ, FBI and CIA.
Funny how we don’t hear much about Brennan’s CIA in all of this. You can get he was up to his eyeballs in this.
Or it may just be that Strzock’s wife is good at her job, and got a well-deserved promotion.

This is the swamp. It doesn't work that way. Appointments to directors of things are almost always political, and were especially so in the Clinton-Bush [yeah that's right, GWB]-Obama years.
So and So’s wife, when she was hired by fusion gps on that same day apparently applied for a Ham Radio License.
If true, and used as private data exchange between her and the collaborators it was probably used with a packet switched radio.
You can see that type of application/usage in a modern taxicab.
