That’s in essence how a Joy Reid guest has described Roy Moore’s supporters. On Reid’s MSNBC show this morning, Eric Guster, an Alabama lawyer, said:

“Roy Moore’s coalition, they [are] in the rural counties. The Bible Belt. The people who love to go to church on Sunday. The ones who want to build a wall and keep brown people out of the United States.”

I hate racism. That said, when comments are repeatedly made about ‘evil white people’, and white women shouldn't reproduce, and 'we will outbreed whites', and all the other ridiculous and aggressive remarks that we've heard from some over the top ‘people of color’, including La Raza and their followers, that is absolutely racism. Moore's platform, from what I can tell, has nothing to do with race.

You know, we joke about how leftist philosophy always fits on a bumper sticker, but it is true. The thought above takes a fairly complex situation and just reduces it to a soft dollop of pablum that you don't even have to chew.

Here's food for thought: if the above thought were true, why would it be wrong? In reality, that ship sailed years ago for the USA, but, as an example, if Sweden wanted to keep out brown people, why would it be wrong to do so?
