Scare tactics from the left !!!
Is Newt Gingrich the left?
Is Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) the left?
Is Frank Gaffney the left?
With all due respect, rather than dismiss the concerns with a blanket comment, perhaps you would be wise to actually spend the time do some research on the subject like these people on the right have done.
I don't dwell on Yellowstone erupting either...
>>>200,000 km altitude (sweet spot in Ionosphere for EMP effects<<<
The US Gov’s Starfish Prime was detonated at 400km(250mi aka outer space) and allegedly blew out street lights in Hawaii, 900(1450km) miles away.
I think you better get in touch with them and let them know they detonated way too low for the sweet spot. They must not have ‘done the math’. /s
bttt
We’ve got the New Madrid Seismic Zone to worry about out here in the Midwest.
This is a stupid hoax. Nothing would happen.
PhD in Nuclear engineering?
EMP certifications?
Or perhaps it is just too much of a stray away from the normalcy bias that it must be dismissed?
Google EMP tests on vehicles. In 5 minutes you will educate yourself on this hoax
I would love for you to be correct, but this guy, DR. Arthur Bradley, PhD in Electrical Engr, Certified in EMI/EMP and likely has a heck of a lot more experience, education, knowledge than you says otherwise...With all due respect, perhaps you would do well take your own advice and educate yourself rather than simply dismiss.
Guest on video: Dr. Arthur Bradley. He has PhD from Auburn in EE, and he is a certified EMI/EMC Engineer, and a Licensed Professional Engineer. He has worked with NASA FOR 15 YEARS Solving EMI and EMP issues and he still does...

Regarding vehicles being impacted from EMP, he states by his calculations (watch to video) approx. 7 million cars in blink of eye stop running. That would create huge problems, many accidents, etc. His section on cars is at 9 minutes on the tape.
Good job on being an arse by dogging someone for a single typo of “km” instead of “m” ...
Did that make your day? Give you a good feeling inside?
well you brought it upon yourself by being so smug and suggesting that you are the smartest guy in the room. If you’re going to do something like that, try proofreading.
You must be great fun at parties with all of your happy guests...
“Certified in EMI/EMP”
What certifications would that be exactly? I am not aware of any certifications “in EMP”.
Certified in EMI/EMP
What certifications would that be exactly? I am not aware of any certifications in EMP.
So you are not aware...With all due respect, unless you are as knowledgeable as this guy, then perhaps you are not aware because you did not do a Google search...nor did you watch the video as Dr. Bradley discusses his background in first 3 minutes...

As I stated before in last post:
Dr. Arthur Bradley. He has PhD from Auburn in EE, and he is a CERTIFIED EMI/EMC ENGINEER, and a Licensed Professional Engineer. He has worked with NASA FOR 15 YEARS Solving EMI and EMP issues and he still does...
“What certification would that be ‘exactly’?” (Do I detect snark?)
I am not an EMI/EMP certified engineer, but below are listed some of the areas of certification. I could ask my sons—both have advanced Engineering degrees 1 PhD, one MS, if you like—they may know more about this.

I used to own a V12 BMW 850 CSi. EMP shielded to get German fat cats out of Germany cities in case of airburst. Yes, they marketed it as EMP proof (not why I bought it)
What is year of vehicle?
Down thread, I have some info on EMP effect on vehicles...It is actually from a PhD Elec. Engr. with EMI/EMP Certification and has worked on EMI and EMP issues for NASA for 15 years...
