Those 4chan threads screwing with Shia’s stuff were just so funny. I can see where my normie conservative good Southern Baptist wife would find them “mean spirited” but there is a reason Shia had a meltdown after that. The Anon pranksters right in Bolshevik NYC (the first of 4 locations) messing with the site were absolute comedy gold.

At the center of the widening probe are Tony Podesta, a longtime Democratic operative, and Vin Weber, a former GOP congressman and leader of his own high-powered lobbying firm, Mercury LLC. The two men were hired as part of a multimillion-dollar lobbying effort directed by Manafort and longtime associate Rick Gates.

However, that law in no way negates the language of the National Security Act of 1947.
Kabar is correct that the Commander in Chief is the CIC for all services. However, that language in the NSA does not apply to any other service. It has been rarely, if ever, used for anything domestically related, but I am not 100% sure of that.
Why is the language in the law important? Well, if we imagine something big happening, it could be very important.
I only say that because we are not pushing back in kind. We have no special prosecutor on our side. In a sense, the Trump administration is owned. There is no clout in only hollering from the sidelines.
We are going to need an SP if the courts are going to be the weapon of choice, used by Trump’s enemies. The courts are going to be the method by which Tramp is tormented to the point of choking his agenda, weakening his Administration and his re-election.
A freely and constitutionally elected presidency should not be this hard.
My friend the original FBIAnon posts on 4chan during the election directly implied that there are patriots who are working very carefully as the levels of corruption are so extensive it would be like a Nuclear Bomb hitting the nation. However he insisted that Patriots were on the inside and working for us to bring all this down.
