The investigation of the shooting in Las Vegas continues. A crime scene so massive and with so many different scenarios will be completely covered and no question will go unanswered. Sheriff Joseph Lombardo is doing a masterful job and both he and other investigators have worked countless hours attempting to find out the what and why of what happened.
As always, we will not get all the answers that the American people are seeking. In the aftermath of the worst mass shooting in American history it is imperatives that the answers are clear, concise and honest. I am convinced that at the end of all the investigations, and the media has moved on to the next major story, there will still be questions about why this happened and how did it happen.
Questions remain, some may be just conspiracy and some may be factual. In either case, they are questions that need to be answered. One question is that the authorities are stating that Paddock did not check in until September 28th. A question arises when individuals who work at the Mandalay Bay assert that Paddock ordered room service on the 27th for two people. Who was that other person and why are authorities stating that Paddock did not check in until the 28th? Sources at the Mandalay Bay are claiming that Paddock actually checked in on the 25th.
Paddock, an out of shape former accountant with no military training is not capable of pulling this off by himself. With no experience in guns, how could he have fired as rapidly and accurately as he did. As a military veteran and have experience with fully automatic weapons, they can be hard to control, jam easily and tend to overheat. Using an automatic weapon effectively takes extensive training and experience in the use of such weapons. Being a retired accountant senior citizen, I do not understand how Paddock had the skill or the stamina to fire for so long. The overheating is also a reason why suppressors (silences in Hillarys vernacular) are never used on such weapons. They have a tendency to melt and more quickly jam the gun.
How is law enforcement convinced that there was only one shooter? There are pictures that clearly show rifle fire from a lower window. And why are there recordings of law enforcement talking of another possible suspect on the fourth floor?
At the scene of the crime, why were all the exits blocked. Those 22,000 happy concert goers found themselves trapped, with ability to get out or to seek cover. The ten foot walls kept the multitude of people in the fire zone with no way out.
I have been to Las Vegas many times, living in Southern California and I can not understand how anyone, much less Paddock can carry so many weapons and ammunition into a room without being seen.
Even Trey Gowdy, the no nonsense Representative from South Carolina is skeptical. In Rep. Gowdys words, he is skeptical that the amount of premeditation and can not believe that a single person could have done this without assistance.
Further questions include: why so many rifles and weapons if there was only one shooter. Were the rifles that were there for another shooter? Were they all Paddocks weapons and was he funded by others to have that so many weapons?
Paddock was found dead in his room by a self inflicted gunshot wound. Law enforcement states that he shot himself when they blew the door open to his room. Is there a ballistic report on the bullet that killed him that will close out that part of the investigation?
The broken windows on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay are the supposed site where the firing of the bullets that killed 58 people took place. Automatic weapons have a very pronounced flash, why were there no flashes from the 32nd floor? I have not heard whether flash suppressors were used, but even then there would be some flash. There are purported to be flashes from the 4th floor, but that has not been confirmed. The audio of the online videos and other videos it clearly be heard overlapping gunfire from two different weapons. Barring any further explanation, how can Paddock be responsible for all the carnage.'

There's another of his friends/associates who was shown his "gun room".
One of the dealers said he was no novice.
Girlfriend was in the car while he was making a purchase. (She knows soooooo much more...but not about the event itself.)
Skepticism abounds around the official story and for damn good reason. It’s a crock.
Just saw the complete headshot. Nothing under the chin. Blew his brains out.

This is simply false. Paddock was firing a semi automatic weapon from an elevated position into a massive crowd (22,000) jammed into a small enclosed area. He didn’t need to aim anywhere other than the general direction of the crowd to get a massive body count. Especially firing .223 rounds from above the crowd, he was going to get fatal head shots and plenty of them, possibly even multiple fatal headshots with a single round. Also, being a “military veteran” he should know better. Paddock brought mulitple weapons into his room, firing 100 rounds from an AR-15 and then moving on to the next weapon, is not going to cause an AR to “overheat”, it may cause it to jam but then Paddock could simply move on to the next weapons system. Paddock could have easily pulled off the actual act of the shooting himself.
You can be lumpy and still be strong.
Just because you don’t have the surveillance video in a place smothered in surveillance doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
I believe hey had the capability to detect motion and give alarm messages on the screen and I’m sure that would include annunciation.
The lead FBI invetigator - Aaron Rouse, just by happenstance, is married to John Podesta’s daughter.
Watch the pressers when the sheriff is talking. Rouse is staring at the sheriff so hard you can see the hole being burned into the back of his skull. The sheriff is always looking highly stressed.
Now we can play six degrees of Soros - Rouse, Podesta, Clinton, Soros.
Of course, this is pure connect-the-dots speculation. Your mileage may vary.
His physical condition has zero to do with this, other than his ability to move from firing point to firing point. If he was strong enough to pull the trigger multiple times, he’s strong enough to have been the lone shooter. He’s firing a semi automatic weapon, with a large capacity magazine into a densely populated area, not a whole lot of stamina or skill required there.
Got anything objective to back that up?
Didn’t think so.
the long it takes and the more we hear from the media and folks on this board, that ‘its all under investigation still so we dont know anything’....blah, all we have been given so far is one lone gunman with maybe some issues...if that is all it is, there shouldnt be this big of a delay..
if all the so-called answers in this thread to questions is soooooo easy, etc, this should eliminate all other possibilities, and yet, we are still being told the investigation is ongoing...for what?
if it is one nut job, then there are no accomplices or conspiracies to entertain, what can the hold up be then...?
what are you investigating if it is one nut job who liked guns...???
why are folks on these thread chastising folks for bringing up questions?
these questions shouldnt exist if it one nut job lone gunman who like guns...right?
there shouldnt be anything else to look at, right?
or is there?
or arent we supposed to ask questions?
Interesting sound analysis of the shots... you can pick out the shots from the Bump Stock, as well as a full auto, worth a look
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFbGGWh5k-M
Not many are saying it because it’s stupid.
Having fired full-auto, I assure you it’s not particularly difficult. He had plenty of extras to pick up if any malfunctioned. He’d fire one long burst, then there were long delays before the next burst (not “10 continuous minutes of firing” like many imply).
As another noted, there are a zillion videos of old white guys firing comparable weapons. 64 isn’t all THAT old. 20 years ago my father was working hard and could have handled it; only now past 80 is he slowing down.
And the tangent into suppressors is just irrelevant to the situation (BTW: good suppressors are in fact built for such use).
.
There’s no question; there were two major shooters, plus the shooters on the ground that were dressed as security guards.
This was organized Antifa Terror.
.
“why are folks on these thread chastising folks for bringing up questions?”
Nothing wrong with questions. But questions that suggest flimsy theories can be frustrating for those who: (1) have seen the same/similar question elsewhere (over and over); and (2) are frustrated with the sloppy investigation being conducted and are looking for clarity (but keep having to weed through more sloppy thinking).
The second window that was broken out essentially doesn’t have sightlines to the concert. If there were multiple shooters in that suite all shooting at the concert, the broken windows would be next to each other. The second broken window, however, does have good sightlines to the two fuel tanks at the airport that had a couple of Paddock’s rounds in them.
Absolute nonsense. Did not happen. There were some on stage strobe lights that flashed with each gunshot. But no place to fire from at that level. Credibility goes to zero at this point.
So many guns.
Can't imagine that there were no gun magazines in the house. That's all my son in law has...in every bathroom.
They said he bought a couple from Cabelas's and I'm sure he would have their catalogue.
And there may be a missing computer...totally dedicated to guns...which has been destroyed.
I'm sure gun dealers have been giving LE truckloads of info.
That area is an acoustical nightmare. A vast area filled with multiple high rise buildings. If there were a second shooter, we won’t know until trajectory plotting is done from the location of those killed and wounded. (This has already been done, I’m assuming) I am taking neither side on this, until more evidence is released, I was just simply pushing back on the “old white flabby guy” rhetoric. Paddock could have absolutely pulled the actual firing off on his own.
