Words have meaning to me. I was posting on Monday morning that this was, by definition, terrorism. It may not have been “Religious terrorism”, but that only discusses the motive, not the act or its expected result.
When you harm a few people as a threat of harm to a LOT of people, and the latter feels terror, you have committed a terrorist act.
Your point are valid, but my understanding is that the “legal/official” definition of terrorism involves an underlying political objective to be accomplished through the violence.
You are right. Anyone who terrorizes and kills people is a terrorist. Their motives can be labeled.
