Your point are valid, but my understanding is that the “legal/official” definition of terrorism involves an underlying political objective to be accomplished through the violence.
Yeah, I see that as political terrorism.
i.e. “terrorism” is like “safe”. The word needs to have a qualifier to really have any contextual meaning.
