I’m actually open to the possibility that this was an ISIS-related attack that had nothing to do with Islam.
Presumptively a convert to Islamic Jihadist Terrorism.

A propaganda video by ISIS that emerged in May called for a lone wolf attack on the Vegas Strip.
The video the terrorist group that showed footage of Caesar’s Palace, the Bellagio Hotel and other icons from the casino row on South Las Vegas Boulevard.
Though the footage has been determined to be from 2015, authorities deemed the threat credible - particularly in the wake of the Manchester Arena massacre, and as the then coming Memorial Day holiday weekend which was expected to bring big crowds to The Strip.
‘I think anytime somebody goes on the internet and makes a threat that they’re going to conduct a lone-wolf or any type of attack, it’s our responsibility to view it as a credible threat,’ Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Capt. “Authorities” have not had time to audit all his electronic devices, check his finances, go over the papers and items found in his homes. They blurted out there was no radical islam link for one reason, to try and divert attention away from the most obvious cause. It’s the first clue that he was a career criminal and conman like his dad. Seeking to be ‘invisible’ is what professional criminals seek to do.

How did he become a millionaire? Having a work history with the US postal service and the IRS doesn’t seem to be the answer. There is something very weird about this story of him and his “girlfriend,” who is married to two men.
As was posted elsewhere on FR: Supposedly, the FBI was using this guy and his resources in a sting operation to move weaponry to domestic ISIS enclaves. He was supposedly double-crossed by some rogue FBI agents, and then went totally ballistic (no pun intended), went over the deep end, and supported ISIS with this massacre. That’s why ISIS is claiming him as their own. IF true, even an element of it, talk about an embarrassment to the FBI. And IF true, then they’ want to cover it up faster than cat that just took a crap in the sandpile making Deep state have much blood on its hands. This plausible explanation would answer a lot of unanswered questions, especially in regards to the quantity and type of weapons. When it comes to FBI and ISIS, nothing would be a surprise.
Words have meaning to me. I was posting on Monday morning that this was, by definition, terrorism. It may not have been “Religious terrorism”, but that only discusses the motive, not the act or its expected result.
When you harm a few people as a threat of harm to a LOT of people, and the latter feels terror, you have committed a terrorist act.
