Jimmy Kimmel is the perfect spokesman for the American Left. He personifies everything the Left has become over the last 25 years, since the advent of Clintonian/Alinsky dominance of the Democrat Party: Entitled, snarky, mean, haughty, and above all else, studiously ignorant.
The tactics he deploys from his late night pulpit are the tactics Clintonian Democrats have deployed from their political pulpits for a quarter of a century. You begin with a set of talking points prepared by someone else, but which you memorize and recite as if they were gospel handed down from God himself. In Kimmel’s case, the talking points were handed down by Chuck Schumer, more a minion of Satan than a god, but the principle is the same.
Kimmel’s talking points are pretty simple: Obama, good. Obamacare, good. Republicans, bad. Anything Republicans want to to with Obamacare, bad. That’s the sum total of what Kimmel “knows” about the debate over what to do about the collapsing Obamacare system, which has quintupled medical premiums in many areas and thrown millions of Americans off of healthcare insurance entirely. Kimmel sees none of this, because none of this is in the talking points he’s been fed by Schumer. Kimmel is abjectly ignorant, and he clings to his ignorance like Linus clings to his security blanket.

Kimmel unfortunately is a pawn. He is clearly mentally crippled by the scars of his child's problems. This is a tragedy, and no Deplorable would take advantage of such a man.
But as the article states, this is a matter of a secular theocracy. No act is too low. I suspect he is happy to go along with his overlords - he was clearly never a Trump fan anyway - but the sickness in this movement, to use such a painful AND PRIVATE matter for "the public good" is part of why we lovers of liberty despise this inhumane element in the opposition.
Plus he plays to an audience who does not have to get up and go to work the next morning . . .
Who wants to waste good sleep watching Kimmel or Colbert? Unfunny leftist hacks are no way to end the night by watching them. Fallon seems a little halfway decent but I don’t watch either.— is he still on ?
The Conservatives have talk radio. They and their advertisers are chronically attacked by the Left. The Left has late night TV. Time to make a critical listing of their advertisers and let people know who is supporting them.
I guess success has gone to his head. I really enjoyed "The Man Show" when he worked with Adam Carolla... and "The Juggies."

The left has made the state their object of veneration.
To them, the state is a purifying, sanctifying force that alone can correct injustices in the naturally emerging social order. When a conservative (even a weak conservative) is in a position of power, it's profoundly unsettling to them. The necessary mission of the state is being inhibited. Progress cannot occur, the arc of history stops bending toward justice, and society cannot "move forward". It's not unlike the disgust that traditionalist Catholics have for Pope Francis, but in a supposedly rigidly secular context.
