If we didn’t have Democrats, we’d have to make them up. – Ok, I swear I didn’t make this up. It’s a real story. The far, far, far, far left wing of the far, far leftwing California Democratic Party is mounting a recall effort on their own Assembly Speaker because…wait for it…he isn’t far, far, far, far leftwing enough for them. Wait, you say, Speaker Anthony Rendon is as far, far, far leftwing as it gets, right? Well, no. See, he needed to add one more “far” to that total of “fars”, and ram through a completely unworkable proposal to implement single-payer healthcare in the Golden State, a bill that would have utterly bankrupted the state’s treasury within a few years. Of course, the leftist nitwits who pushed this bill and are now taking out their frustrations on the Speaker figure that when the money runs out in their own state, they’ll just petition the federal government to force taxpayers from the 49 other states to pay for their ruinous policies. It’s the California way, after all.
Hey, can we get that whole CalExit deal moving along a little faster? – Speaking of the insanity that is California, CA Congressman Lou Correa is so unhinged that he now displays a painting of the Statue of Liberty wearing Muslim garb in his congressional office. This isn’t political thought, this is mental illness. But then, California is the state that gives us Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, so, just par for the course, really.

Absolute worse thing congress could do, don’t believe me ask Colorado, Texas, Oregon, Washington State, Utah or any other state where those “uprooted” nuts, fruits and flakes migrate to when things go bad at home. ANY state where the California “immigrants” go, they bring their California ideas with them. NOPE, we don’t want them here either.

I told my nephew before he moved from NJ to NC to just NOT VOTE if he was going to vote left because he was leaving a place he hated BECAUSE of the policies of the left.
Don’t go ruining NC, I told him.
He did not vote. Ah, it’s a start. At least he did no harm.
If CA exits, we can bring in PR so we don’t have to change the number of stars on the flag.
(PR has its problems too, but IIRC at least has a sane “shall not be infringed” 2nd Amendment ruling as of late.)

Tell you all what. This might just happen. A good portion of the cars I see around here lately are from CA. They are a gettin out.
NC isn’t that much better. Believe me, look at my posts - NJ is at the bottom of my list. It’s hanging out with China, Iran and North Korea.
But I’ve been keeping an eye on NC lately too - as I’m looking to move to a more conservative area. NC is creeping towards the left in a manner that many are blind to it.
You’d have to live in the NE to see it, really. And as a transplant from CT I can see that writing on the wall.
It would be fun to see the electoral map in the last few presidential elections without California.
Yeah, but it’s not as bad as it looks, the Sierras without roads works pretty well to isolate most of the California Nevada border, The Colorado river would work very well on the Cal-Arizona boarder once the water is removed from LA and allowed to flow naturally to the Sea of Cortez.
Oregon and California are already becoming one.
