Reports of the FBI seizing computer hard drives form the home of the congressional IT director and aide of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz are accurate, according to FBI sources: with the exception of one major detail. The computer hard drives were not damaged when they were confiscated, FBI sources said.
The FBI, who is working in some capacity to assist with the Capitol Police on the Awan investigation, confirm the hard drives and other computer equipment have been damaged but are pointing the finger at the Capitol Polices chain of custody with the evidence. The FBI, they said, would not damage evidence and stressed if someone went to the trouble of destroying evidence before a seizure they normally would discard of it as well, federal sources said.
Capitol Police officials would not respond to requests for comment.
The computer drives and equipment are linked to the Awan Brothers and Wasserman herself, according to law enforcement sources and media reports.
From the Daily Caller:
Pakistani-born Imran Awan, long-time right-hand IT aide to the former Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman (Wasserman), has since desperately tried to get the hard drives back, the individual told The Daily Caller News Foundations Investigative Group.
A high-level congressional source, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe, confirmed that the FBI has joined what Politico previously described as a Capitol Police criminal probe into serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network by Imran and three of his relatives, who had access to the emails and files of the more than two dozen House Democrats who employed them on a part-time basis.
Capitol Police have also seized computer equipment tied to the Florida lawmaker.
Awans younger brothers, Abid and Jamal, his wife, Hina Alvi, and Rao Abbas, Imrans best friend, are also under investigation. There have been no arrests in the case.
Journalist George Webb reported several weeks ago the Wasserman-linked computer hard drives had been seized as part of the Awan investigation. But there was never any mention the drives were physically altered. That would give additional credence to the FBIs account that the drives were in good physical condition at the time of the seizure.

Wow. Just...wow! Thanks.

There’s no evidence of this
This guy goes off half cocked. Sometimes good info, oftentimes nonsense.
Not a peep from a single FBI agent.
And while under threat from DWS. Lock her up.
The DC Metropolitan Police are in charge of the Rich murder investigation, not the Capitol police, whose jurisdiction is the U.S. Congress, and the Capitol ... the building and its grounds. It was 2 Capitol police who saved the day at the baseball practice shooting last month.
That’s my fear. They are the foot soldiers of the DEEP STATE.

Here are links to the reports on the raid...as to whether it has any connection to Huma Abedin's relations - I can't say.
I know about the raid. I haven’t found any evidence linking the property to Abedin. No property records, no articles, nothing. Just this guy’s claim presented without evidence.
"... a home in Dearborn, Michigan, owned by a shell company belonging to top Clinton aide Huma Abedins brother and sister. [Note: Some words and/or phrases appearing in quotes in this report are English language approximations of Russian words/phrases having no exact counterpart.]"
I think the article then took on a life of it's own.
Given the lack of integrity as well a biases involved with opposing views, it is difficult to sort through the information. I try to keep source links handy (as well as screen caps of info at links in case they go poof!)to filter for accuracy as info becomes available.

...
That’s all the crooks need. Now there’s no way a judge will allow it as evidence.

The Daily Caller reported that the FBI has taken the smashed hard drives from the home of Pakistani-born Imran Awan, a former IT aide that worked for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL). The Capitol Police took computer equipment tied to the Florida lawmaker.
...Politico previously described as a Capitol Police criminal probe into serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network' by Awan, his wife Hina Alvi, and his brothers Abid and Jamal.
The veteran discovered wireless routers, hard drives that look like they tried to destroy, laptops, [and] a lot of brand new expensive toner.
[snip] Then Imran found out and became angry when he couldnt get back his equipment: ....
I didn’t know it came from Sorcha Faal.
So I faal for it. I checked the tax records for Huma, Heba, Hasan, and Saleah Abedin. The only one I didn’t check is Syed, because he died in the early 90’s, IIRC. No property owned there. I check the tax records for the address, nothing there. I checked to see if any of the Abedins had a business there and found nothing. I spent a lot of time looking things up and found nothing.
If one of their relatives is a tenant or owner of that address or has a business registered at that address we’re gonna have to see some proof.
That’s pretty bizarre that the State (DC) police said they picked them up intact, and gave them to the FBI broken. Coverup?
Show me the evidence room logs and I will show you who to charge for willful destruction of evidence in an Espionage case. And if no one signed the form, charge the Evidence Custodian with theft and willful negligence.

Isn’t Wray a Rat?
You’er thinking of McCabe - now in charge of FBI. Trump appointed Wray. The judiciary committee approved him a few days ago. Full Senate must confirm him. Hopefully before Trump fires Sessions, Mueller etc. He needs patience - get his people in place
I was being sarcastic when I said they really screwed up this time.
